Do animal companions get the racial skill bonuses listed in the corresponding Bestiary entry? It doesn't say so in the description of Animal Companions, but it sounds reasonable to me (otherwise you end up with a giant frog that can't jump worth a dang, for instance). But on the other hand, there are some pretty large racial bonuses out there (e.g. the deinonychus gets +8 to three good skills).
What about racial bonus feats?

No, they gain whats listed in the animal companion entry only. Nothing else. If it's not listed, they do not gain it

As written, an animal companion gains ONLY the abilities that are listed in its animal companion stat block and the basic rules for animal companions. This does mean that an animal companion doesn't gain the various racial skill modifiers a normal animal of its kind gets; if the normal animal has bonus feats, the animal companion doesn't get them either. Animal companions are different than normal animals, after all, and are built using different rules.

Huh. I don't have the AC pdf right here, but I don't see how a druid could take an animal from its natural environment and it would suddenly become more visible.
Anyways... the AC advancement table give some skill points and feats, which can be allocated to emulate the creature in its natural environment... or to specialize the animal in another direction.

Is the companion's intellect grows, their primal instincts fade away. They aren't suddenly more visible, but in becoming your companion, they've lost a few of those instinctual tricks they had in staying hidden.

Fair enough; I can understand that. It just seems a little weird that a druid picking out a giant frog companion would look for the one with the puniest legs. ;-)
