Hey all, just a few quick questions about these events. They say, for example, "For Levels 1-5". Is that character levels? I ask because I saw one that is 1-11. I don't see how you could run a game with that kind of spread. Second, if that is char levels, and I use a pregen, will it be at the minimum for that event? If I make a character, should it be at the minimum for the event?
If it's not obvious, I haven't yet read the Guide to Org Play. I was just hoping for quick answers from those with experience.

Yes, "For levels xxx" refers to character levels. The event for 1-11 is a special event just for PaizoCon. Also, the normal tiers are broken down into sub-tiers, so the range of character levels in a regular scenario is actually smaller than it appears.
Unless you are playing a pre-gen, you must start with a level 1 PC and play a tier that includes level 1. You can only level up by gaining XP through playing scenarios. You get 1 XP/scenario and it takes 3 XP to level up.
If you use a pre-gen, it will be appropriate for the given tier but I'm not sure exactly what level as that's not something I've had to deal with yet.
