Could a druid living monolith Polymorph into something large then enlarge into something huge?
No, but they would gain strength for decreasing in size!
The polymorph school spells assume one is medium sized for its adjustments, and while it makes these spells easier to read I think it's a mistake.

Actually you cannot gain str by shrinking because of the oft-ignored section about polymorph in the spells chapter that adjusts your strength DOWN based on how much above medium you are BEFORE the effect of the polymorph spell kicks in. Of course, they'll likely still be strong, just not stronger or even likely as strong.
As for the OP's question, you would have to somehow have a non-magical enlargement effect to grow while polymorphed.
AKA, +1 to hogarth.

I see, I didn't read down far enough in the entry.
In one place it talks about size changes:
If a polymorph spell causes you to change size, apply the size modifiers appropriately, changing your armor class, attack bonus, Combat Maneuver Bonus, and Stealth skill modifiers. Your ability scores are not modified by this change unless noted by the spell.
But it's not until many other things that it comes back again.
Strange that they don't do it blanket-like but rather just for non-small/medium.
As it stands a small polymorphing into a small looses STR and gains DEX, etc.
