Hi, I'm wondering how "dungeony" the Final Wish is. I have and enjoy HotCK and especially End of Enternity, because of the interweaving of roleplay w/ meaningful combat and other bits of fun exploration. Neither of them really feels like a grind and the pace keeps changing. Me & my party are kindof hypersensative to grind.
That being said, how "grindy" is the Final Wish? There's not a whole lot of reviews online. Since it's high-level, I'm especially sensative to long strings of combats (my group can be very slow past 10th level). An epic showdown against Jhuval himself sounds awesome, but slogging through his minions/pet golems/etc isn't as much.

There is certainly an element of grind to the final book. While there are areas where some RP is possible and would enhance the experience, really it is more on the 'dungeony' side of the scale.
That said, this book is more like the final battle in a movie, continuous action from start to finish (with time to rest and recover between 'acts' of course).
I am looking forward to running my players through this book and seeing what mayhem they can manage. They are just about to visit the battle market for the first time next session.
