Fluff for homebrew gladiator class

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Gladiator

Some live for the fight, and others fight to live. Which one of these captivates a gladiator often depends on whether or he is fighting for fame and fortune, or if he is an unfortunate slave or convicted criminal fighting for a tyrant or savage crowd.

For those fighting for fame and fortune their influence erases all barriers. They will never long for money, friends or companionship. Even when they decide to hang up the steel and retire they have enough to live comfortably for the rest of their live. Others tire of the gladiator life, but wish to keep fighting, and become adventures, sometimes becoming mighty heroes. Others find that the battles they fought in the arena are nothing compared to the monsters they meet outside the city walls, often not realizing this until they are drawing their last breath.

Those fighting for their lives can also become popular, but their life is often not as glamorous. They don’t get to see any of the proceeding from their battles. Every once in a while one of these men escapes and uses his abilities to seek fame and fortune on the road as an adventurer.

Any opinions/improvements/potential edits/ would be helpful.

PS: There are probably some typos as far a grammar goes.
