Welcome! If you are lucky, someone will come along and invite you into a game. But if you're serious, I would advise checking gamer connection daily because most DMs will post an opening and wait for responses rather than go looking for players. There's a new game or two starting every week, but competition to get in can be fierce. Throw your name in even if several people have already asked to join. Often times players will drop out before the campaign even begins. Good luck.

Granted it's not a guarantee of a spot, but you are certainly more than welcome to put a character concept up for consideration on my recruitment thread found here.
You can also visit the Limbo PBP threads in Gamer Connection & the PBP section. Limbo isn't an adventure per se. It is a RP environment for folks in between campaigns. It takes place in a demi-planar bar connected to many gaming worlds.
If you want to get your feet wet, it's a fun spot. Just be sure to read the Connection thread and at least the first couple of pages of the PBP to get a feel for 'the rules'.
