The natural spell feat allows a druid to cast spells while using wild shape. Why can't a wizard/sorcerer take this feat to cast spells while polymorphed?

Since the feat's already too good, in my opinion, I don't think it's a very good idea to expand its utility.

Liberty's Edge

to be honest it could be house ruled to fit a wiz/sor but i dont suggest it. I believe it is not accessable to wiz/sorc because of the limited duration, the druid wildshape is extended duration(custom). The wiz can still buff before shaping so no real issue where the game stands. Suggestion as a wiz/sorc choose a polymorph that allows you to maintain a casting ability, Ex. elementals

also the druid class is limited to creatures early typically ones that can not speak or cast spells at base. But arcane casters gain

Arcane casters gain access to the same abilities as the druid only later, and with less power to actually bring those powers to bear. In fact by the time you actually can cast most of the polymorph type spells you can already gain most of the powers of those spells in a different manner. So the ability to cast spells and have those powers isn't inherently more powerful simply because your form is different.

Making this change would bring the polymorph subschool spells back into play a bit more. Unfortunately they've been so watered down over the course of the last 3 editions (by three I mean from 3.0 to 3.5 to pathfinder) to be all but useless as general utility spells (and their current limitations makes them just as useless as combat spells in and of themselves).

You could make the same point about wild armor and allowing it to work with polymorph spells in my opinion.

HOWEVER these would be houserules to be clear -- by RAW only druids can use natural spell, or wild armor.
