Roldare has a masterwork crossbow as per the text on his encounter that he will give to the party.
For his stats block under offense it says:
Ranged mwk light crossbow +6 (1d8/19-20)
What is the +6 for? Im assuming its not a to hit bonus as the core rulebook says masterwork is +1 to hit and adds 300gp to the cost.
Also under HP in the stats blocks, when it says lets say 6(1d10+1), is that to say you can either take the avg roll value for hp or you can roll it? Just wondering what is intended by that (i prefer to roll it :P)

The +6 is the total of all the attack bonuses for that weapon counting the BAB, ability score modifier (Dex in the case of the crossbow), the +1 enhancement bonus from masterwork, etc.
For the HP entry it lists the actual hp then the hit dice in parentheses. Often the hp of an opponent IS averaged, but not necessarily. Of course, it is YOUR game so feel free to roll it up however you want. :-)
