One of my players in Legacy of Fire is a Bard (named Taren). Specifically, a Halfling Bard 7 / Pathfinder Delver 3. He is the only one that has Leadership (I allow one person each game to take it) and has another Pathfinder as a cohort (Half-Orc Transmuter 5 / Pathfinder Sage 3).
They got to the area on the west side of the mansion where a few efreet, some salamanders, and a barbed devil were. They were being 'served' by a total of 14 kobolds in various areas. The party avoided killing any of the cowering servants and ended up feeding them and giving them some healing and water afterwards, taking pity. They looked up to Kiira the most (she being the Elven Cleric of Irori healing them), and were happy just to hang around and munch the food while the group killed their masters. Afterwards, Taren and Davor spoke with them and discussed getting them out of the mansion if they agreed to serve Taren, promising better food, no whippings, and other benefits. All the kobolds quickly agreed.
Now Taren the halfling has dreams of a blue helmet with face shield, 14 kobolds in front of him, inspiring courage, as he shouts "KOBOOOOLD!!! ATTACK!!!!!" in a high-pitched voice.
Awesome.
