I am not interested in the AP itself, it has poor reviews. I am interested in getting the best info on the elven kingdom and the dark elves. Which modules should I grab?
The descriptions of 15, 16, and 17 suggest they will be what I want. Is that correct and are any of the other modules good? This is mainly for resource info, not for the AP itself.

I have read the first two in the last few weeks cause im going to full convert them and run it. I think the bad reviews are misleading so far I think they will be great adventures come on drows and pirates how can you go wrong let me look at the books
Edit looked at the books
Book 15 Yes
Book 16 Yes
Book 17 Yes
all have the most info about elves and Drow
18 has the info on the demon lords which might be helpful
And of course the book on the Darklands
If you are doing a Drow vs Elves type Campaign I think its good so far and if nothing else could be mined for all kinds of ideas
Look at treerazor is book 17 for an epic villian for the elves

I'd recommend 15, 16 and 17.
15 contains an article on the Drow of Golarion and the elven city Celwynvian.
16 has much information on the main drow city of Zirnakaynin, and an article on drow art of fleshwarping.
17 details the elven kingdom of Kyonin, the goddess Calistria, and gives the stats for Treerazer, a minor demon lord that dwells within a haunted part of the elven kingdom.
The Pathfinder Companion series has Elves of Golarion, which also gives great information and some player options.

Just curious: Are you not interested in SD 'because' of the reviews, or do you have another reason? Because if it's only the reviews, I strongly suggest browsing these forums for a more balanced opinion. If you're planning a Dark Elf campaign, there's some very good ideas in SD.

I would say that SD is by far the most divisive AP, some people like it, others hate it, but there isn't a lot of middle of the road. If Drow vs Elves is your cup of tea then it is a great AP, it just needs a little bit extra dm care around the edges to make it flow through smoothly, and get rid of some heavy handed railroading.

The thing is, while 15, 16, and 17 have the best Elf/ Drow info...13, 14, and 15 are the best adventures. They're worth playing even as stand alone adventures...

Not sure why this AP got poor reviews. I am playing it now, and my party is about to finish up book 5, and it has been alot of fun, and I would recommend it.
