Converting Rules: Finding Haleen campaign trait for Legacy of Fire

The Finding Haleen campaign trait for the Legacy of Fire adventure path says you pick a class, which is forevermore your favored class. It also says you get +1 HP AND +1 skill point OVER AND ABOVE what you would normally get.

However, it is a v3.5 trait and my crew is running with the newer Pathfinder RPG rules.

How does/should this trait change (if at all) to fit in the new rules set?

As it is written now, I fear everyone in the party will want to take it up.

I'd just let it grant +1 hp and +1 skill point per level, but not in addition to either +1 hp or +1 skill point.

I'd leave this as it is. If your players are picking traits based on the crunch, well, hit them hard with the book on the head and explain that traits are not for min-maxing.
