Special rules for different bonuses

Rules Questions

Hey guys, I'm looking for a list of bonuses and descriptions/special rules for them, and where they are specified in the rules. For instance, some I have heard but want to verify:
Dodge bonuses stack for AC
Precision damage is not multiplied on a crit
Force bonuses to AC work against incorporeal creatures.

Is there a list of these types of bonuses somewhere and their special rules?

Verified here, but unfortunately there is no true definition of "precision damage" beyond that sneak attack is one type of precision damage.

The best place to check is the glossary, but unfortunately none of those answer were found there. Search feature and/or book index is the way to go then.

A partial list of modifiers can be found here:

Combat

Look under the AC section.

Thanks for pointing those out. I was mostly wondering because I see rules questions about these exceptions fairly frequently.

For instance, in annother thread it was asked if power attack multiplies on a crit, and the reply was that all static damage bonuses multiplied. This isn't exactly true, as Precise Shot is both precision damage and a static bonus. It does not multiply, but by the response it would.

Someone else had all sorts of confusion with armor bonuses and wondering what stacked and didn't, and was totally confused by Bracers of AC and Mage Armor being force effects and Armor bonuses while shield is a force effect and shield bonus.

I would like to see a list of typed bonuses and what special rules each one has. Doesn't seem like this has been made though.

Precise Shot lets you ignore the -4 for firing into melee... are you thinking about Deadly Aim?

Where is Point Blank shot defined as precision damage?

PBS is not precision damage. Nowhere in the feat does it state that. It is untyped but static and does indeed get multiplied on a crit like most other straight up pluses on damage.

In all instances I have seen, precision damage is defined as such in the damages or abilities description. If it does not specifically list 'precision damage' then it probably isn't, even if the concept might lead to that conclusion. In such a case it is up to the DM to say if their game is using it as such or not.
