Desna, elves and dreams question

First of all, sorry for my bad english, and hello! from Spain ;P

I will play an elven cleric of Desna, in an all-elves group in Second Darkness AP. I was reading about Desna, and her prestige class, the spherewalker (PF AP #2 and Gods and Magic). I like very much the flavour, but I have a few questions or issues.

- Do elves dream when they are in trance? I think not, because you can´t cast dream to contact with an elf (a spell that clerics of Desna include in her list, making it useless), so, the prestige have no sense for elves (and Desna is one of the three main elven goddess (with Calistria and Shelyn))

- Can I use Dream Feast spell, if my character doesn´t sleep?

- Same for Travelling Dream Spell.

- Efficient sleep (which make you only sleep four hours a day) is useless for an elf, I know it, but Dream Link spell (this spell make you "link" your soul with a friend by sleeping together) too?

My concern is more about flavour (elven "siesta", hehehe), being Desna some kind of dream guide, but if the spells she grants me are useless...

Thanx!

Actually, the default assumption in Pathfinder is that elves do indeed sleep; they're just immune to magical sleep effects. So yes, they do indeed dream.

If you like the flavor of elves not sleeping and instead doing some sort of trance... they should STILL dream, since that's a pretty core part about being an intelligent creature.

Thank you very much! I will say this to my DM.

I prefer elves dreaming about their losts and hopes, stars and nights, to carry freedom to the drow...(and maybe one or two nightmares)

Back in 2nd edition's Complete Book of Elves, which I believe introduced the reverie, it was mentioned that elven dreams are more or less flashbacks to earlier periods of their lives. So even using that definition, while it's not dreaming per se, it's probably close enough.

I prefer dreaming elves, but in 3.0 and 3.5, in "Dream" spell, it says:

"Creatures who don´t sleep or dream (such as elves, but not half elves), cannot be contacted by this spell"

But in PFRPG I saw this sentence has been modificated, removing the reference to elves. In 2nd edition I believe that elves enter in some kind of meditation.
