I'm creating a 1/2 Orc inquisitor for a pathfinder age of worms game. Nothing is set in stone and I'm looking for some additional ideas. When my friends saw the painted 1/2 Orc mini i did, they immediately thought of Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Name: Dogg (really stumped on a good name)
Level: 1
Race: 1/2 orc
Class: Inquisitor
Deity: Xan Yae (Was thinking he could have been raised by the monks from the twilight monastery. A 1/2 orc would be a unique balance that could serve them well)
Domain:________ ( I am not sure what domains would be acceptable, perhaps something with balance, night, darkness)
Str:14
Dex:17
Con:14
Int:11
Wis:14
Cha:7
I'm thinking of focusing on LongBow and having a falchion as my melee weapon.
Trait: Adopted (extra human feat)
Feats
1st lvl: Point Blank Shot
Adopted feat:Rapid Shot
I plan on taking precise shot and multishot. Not sure about what other feats i should take.
Skills: 6+1 for favored class.
Knowledge Arcane: 1 +3=4
Knowledge nature: 1 +3=4
Knowledge Planes: 1 +3=4
Knowledge Religion: 1 +3=4
Knowledge Dungeonering: 1 +3=4
Intimidate: 1 +3 +2(racial -2 ability =4
Sense Motive: 1 +3 +2 ability = 7
the way i read the bane ability, it would be important to have knowledge skills to identify what type of creature your fighting. Intimidate is basically built in to the class as does sense motive. I'd like to get some points in perception, stealth, disguise.

1 Adopted: You were adopted and raised by someone not of your actual race, and raised in a society not your own. As a result, you picked up a race trait from your adoptive parents and society, and may immediately select a race trait from your adoptive parents’ race. Race traits can be found in Pathfinder Companion products—if you don’t have access to a selection of race traits, it’s best to simply pick a different social feat.
I'm curious why racial features are being classified as racial traits. I was under the assumption that the traits are listed with a (Racial) tag (such as the Elf trait which allows you to access gates better). How is a "feature" of an adopted race (such as human free feat, or elven weapon proficiency) considered one of these traits? The reason I'm questioning it is that the second-to-last sentence makes it pretty clear to me, race traits are found in Pathfinder Companion products, not the Core Rulebook.

Race traits and racial traits, despite similar names, are different things.
Racial traits are the abilities you get for being a race, like darkvision or stonecunning. Those are locked in and cant be swapped around.
RACE traits are a category of character trait that, like regional traits and religion traits, appear regularly in the Pathfinder Companion line. You'll want to check those books out for the various race traits you can swap out for by taking the Adopted basic trait. If you don't have or don't use Pathfinder Companion products, then just ignore the Adopted trait because it does nothing for you.
You cannot take a human extra feat with the adopted trait. You may want to reconsider your options.

A. You are using adopted wrong, it lets you select annother trait from a different race, not a racial feature like bonus feat. Otherwise all wizards would be adopted by elves for the +2.
B. You don't need to keep knowledge skills maxed to hit the DCs needed to identify a monster, especially with the class bonus. Since you don't get Bane until 5th lvl, you don't need to be able to do it until then. I recomend spreading out your skill points and only taking 1-2 knowledges/lvl.
C. Feats for a ranged character:
1. point blank shot
3. precise or rapid shot
5. precise or rapid shot
7. deadly aim
9. multishot
11. Weapon Focus Longbow
13. (open)
15. Improved Precise Shot

That's good to know. We are new to pathfinder and still learning the rules. I'll have to reconsider traits now too. I guess human is an option to keep 2 feats but I'd rather stick with 1/2 orc. I have no idea what is considered for the adopted trait so i'm hoping my dm can get his hands on some of these items.

Good point on the knowledge skills. I'll work with perception, stealth and sense motive now and gain knowledge down the line.
Improved precise shot needs a +16 B.A.B which i can't get. bummer too because that's a great high level feat

Really the "adopted" trait is simply "okay". It lets you for example take the trait "Crazy Gnome (Race)" and use it on a Half-Orc. That trait may provide a +2 bonus to craziness, that's about it.
There are plenty of good core traits (I'm a big fan of the +2 initiative one) to chose from, so I'd keep looking there.

You can find a lot of the Traits at HERE. Look on the left sidebar for the link.

It's a good thing i'm a few months away from playing this character, so much i still need to get a good grasp on. i got the BAB's confused on the 2 feats.
