Yep, I'm planning for you all to get through training in about a year. That way there won't be too many "off-screen" changes to the characters.
There's going to be a couple of posts to wrap things up once Sabine is through the assault course, then I'll give the two groups their confirmation missions. We'll then keep the action in the main thread until your ready to leave the Grand Lodge, and then I'll start two separate threads.

Hmm... good point, it might take a while if we go through all of the rolls separately... If Sabine doesn't mind I'll post all her checks together and summarise them like I did for Lathario.
As for what happened to Lathario, I was planning to have him fail the initiation tests, but he ended up doing pretty well in the combat and the obstacle course so he might just pull though.

He keeps reminding me off an old boss I had. We used to comment that he was good at the sort of help that was not helpful.
It never makes you want to yell when he stood beside you and offered... "Maybe if you push that button...", or "Maybe if you typed this..."

i will take First Steps Towards Recovery. in fact i was the one that requested a similar trait. and when i get to level 4, i will put my level 4 stat increase in charisma.

here are some details i wanted to ask about
for my weapon of choice, i would have preffered to go with the shortsword, but the book doesn't feature them being usable for slashing or piercing on a whim. will you allow them to do so? i only went with daggers because they had both of my preffered damage types, slashing and piercing, while shortswords only had the latter.
what alignment would you reccomend for me to change to so far? my pc doesn't really seem lawful evil at all. in fact, she doesn't even seem evil. her father may have been lawful evil. but i don't think lying about your age is an evil act. i think an alignment change is needed, what does everyone reccomend?

I don't see a problem with a piercing/slashing short sword, I'll say it weighs 1 pound more and costs an extra 5gp. A masterwork version would avoid the extra weight. You'll have chance to do a bit of shopping once you get assigned your confirmation.
Like you said, Shuriken hasn't really been acting evil, so perhaps lawful neutral would be a reasonable change, and it fits well with the trait choice.
and for when u give me feedback its as u wish .. is really NOT 4 me but 4 the guys at Wicked Games who asked that I review them!

But they did ask nicely, are gamers too and said I culd share the templates with the group I am in so ...
I guess U can contact them directly somewhere in the forums.
If they found me here I guess you can find them ...

thank you. i think i plan on selling those extra backup weapons to mitigate the cost a little. 2 tantous and a baton should make up the difference. i'll still have another baton for personal use, and have mitigated the custom shortswords cost difference and have roughly the same overall weight.

Not enough to level, but you each get 500XP for completing the tests (even Sabine, to keep things simple.) and another 100XP as a story award for being accepted.
