PFS Character names

Alright, so I was converting my old PFS character from Season 0 to the Pathfinder RPG, and the conversion states that you're supposed to keep the same name. I was wondering if it was possible to ever change the characters name at all? Mostly asking out of curiosity, as the character concept has evolved since the time I played him last, and while I'm perfectly willing to create a new character with the same concept to get a different name, I wanted to sort of get my bases covered.

I beleive that this is a validation thing with the database that stores which adventures you have played. I think the pathfinder number and name need to be 1 to 1 (one name per character number)otherwise the database tells you that the name isn't valid for that character number

I think Cpt_kirstov is right, you're character's name can't be changed on the database... I guess there's nothing stopping you from using a different name at the table though, so long as your GM has the correct name to enter onto the system.

Actually you can edit the name. At a gameday, a month ago, I played with a new character. That character was submitted for me before I had a chance to come on and register it. The system generated a default name of my name plus random numbers as its character name. I went on later and changed the name.
