So has anyone converted the classes in Iron Kingdoms to Pathfinder? I'm about to give up on doing so. Its making my head hurt....>_> I'm mainly looking for the Arcane Mechanik and the Gun Mage. Also on another note, whats the best way to convert the Artificer from Eberron into Pathfinder?
I think I saw a conversion for Artificer already in the Conversions forum. A couple of them actually. And I honestly don't believe the Arcane Mechanik can be successfully converted because the class itself is broken and unfinished. I know, I spent quite some time trying to finish and fix it.
You'd have a FAR easier time homebrewing your own version for Pathfinder.

I agree to disagree with this statement. I think it's perfect for the IK setting in which it was developed. And if it was "unfinished" I do not beleive PP would have published it.

As much as I love the setting of Iron Kingdoms, the mechanics behind much of it (mekanics?) fail miserably. I mean, if they wanted to make mekanica more attractive than 'regular' magic items (despite buckets of complexity, skill checks, limitations, etcetera), make mekanica CHEAPER, don't make regular magic items more expensive and dangerous to make.
And the Arcane Mekanik failed in its execution...this was supposed to be an artificer class...that had access to only 6th level arcane spells. The only thing it had going for it was skills...but wait, it NEEDED all those skills to actually make those mekanical thingamagigs.
Don't get me started on 80,000gp constructs vs. Wands of Crush Construct (2nd level spell, long range, 1d6/level damage to constructs up to 10d6). Arms race? What arms race? <facepalm> And then there's the firearm rules...

Don't get me wrong. I *love* the class, and it's absolutely perfect for the setting. It's still broken and unfinished. You'll notice that some of his skills call for certain feats, which don't exist. Automatons are also grossly overpriced while being underpowered and lasting mere moments before needing recharging. The crafting system in IK is beyond repair and needs to be thrown out the window and started from scratch.
I don't have the exact link, but this is (from my knowledge) all due to the books being rushed out the door sooner than was expected by the author, and he had to throw together what he had done so far without any sort of playtesting or much editing. Seriously, if you haven't noticed the staggering amount of errors in the books, (especially libre mechanica) you need to reread them.
It's a shame, because it's my number one favorite campaign setting. I really hope its updated and re-released for pathfinder, error free, someday.

Fortunately/Unfortunately, Privateer Press has other plans for their RPG.
Interview with Matt Wilson.Though I'm still jazzed that this rich world setting will be getting the attention it deserves. I just wish that the minis game didn't take so long for the new edition.
here's a link to my work in progress for the races and classes of Iron Kingdoms.
IronPath work in progress.
I still haven't made a list of bonus feats for the arcane mechanik due to my dislike of how mechanika crafting works. Right now there are too many craft feats that you need to indirectly make what you want. Craft Cortex ultimately doesn't make anything useable to the party, It just makes a part of something usable to the party and that's my main problem with their feat design philosophy.

Somebody over at the privateer press forums posted a gunmage conversion that's pretty cool

So in the last 3 months or so I have done a lot of additions to my Iron Kingdoms pathfinder convertion project.
IronPath work in progress.
You'll notice that I based my gun mage heavily on the_Gun_Nut's write-up of the gun mage. I just rearranged some of abilities around. I also recreated the gun mages spell list to my liking. In addition, I have made a character sheet cooresponding to these changes. IronPath Character sheet.
Please tell me what you think of my ideas. One of the biggest road blocks I have is the bodger's core ability to MacGuiver-up wacky stuff. I have some rudimentary ideas right now but can't seem to get in writing elequently and fit the existing rules of pathfinder.
