Paizo, are you coming to the UK?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

With no GenCon here in the UK during 2009 I was wondering [hoping] that Paizo might be coming over to the UK in 2010?

Any plans?

Wintergreen is your man here.

I think they had some cool guests last year, I was skint or would have gone.

Erik Mona did pop across to the UK for Dragonmeet in November 2009, running Spire of Nex, and speaking in several seminars.
The inaugural PaizoCon UK, earlier in 2009 in July, had special guests Richard Pett, Christine Schneider, and Ben Wenham. Mr. Logue had been expected, but alas was unable to attend due to a last minute crisis over in East Anglia.
I don't believe that as of the time of my posting this that any special guests have yet been announced for this year's PaizoCon UK, but the venue and date have been confirmed on the PaizoCon UK website, and I believe that the senior organisers are hard at work behind the scenes. :)

Certainly PaizoCon UK is running again this year. As Charles says, we're not yet ready to announce special guests but we can guarantee plenty of Pathfinder roleplaying and Paizo-related activity.

Check out our website.

If you're interested in Pathfinder Society play then there are a number of conventions happening in the UK that will have games running.

Feel free to contact me by email at paizoconuk@hotmail.com.

Speaking of PaizoCon UK, are you ready to take our money yet?

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to book, until I get a Job. Something that is proving difficult.

I will be interested in DMing a game or two too....Grrrrr

Hope one provides an extra incentive for the other.

If you GM you get a discount.
Hopefully will see you there!

I don't know if this is the right place for this but the thread seemed to fit. What is Pazio's policy on any of they're staff or writters guesting at Conventions? While not in UK I'm just across the water in Ireland.

If you're interested in bringing a Paizo employee to your convention, contact me josh@paizo.com. To be upfront, though, to get a Paizo employee you'd need to pay flight, hotel, and food and even with such an offer we have to consider schedules and the size of the show before we can make a commitment.

Oh, that vicious circle is currently winning in the battle vs "need job to pay mortgage"... I have my priorities right :)
