Alright, Yelena's piglet bit made me laugh...very good line. Khalads reply made me bust out for 5 minutes. I picture this big guy, festooned with goblin knuckle bones, looking every inch a fierce, green-tinted barbarian, looking at Yelena with these downcast eyes like a little boy caught by the schoolmarm.
"Aw shucks, but I like chasing piglets"

You have my vote for a new recruit. I'm enjoying this immensely, and would hate to see it stagnate.
As for chasing piglets, I'm picturing Khalad running around after a little screeching piglet that is wearinga pink striped onesie, all being watched by a small yellow bear covered in honey...
Khalad as Christopher Robbin? Don't think A. A. Milne had tatoo'd barbarians in mind... ;)

I'm for recruiting as well.
BTW, loved the scene with the three warriors drinking the hagfish swill!
Thanks Gimble. I'm glad someone took up the challenge, more so that 3 of you tried it. Been wanting to get that scene going since my F2F group passed on the chance a year ago.

Ok,as we approach the 300 post mark, I wanted to get some feedback from all of you:
1. Is the pace ok? I am generally trying to wait at certain junctures for everyone to chime in, but at other times I am moving forward without posts from everyone. Make sure to tell me if you are feeling left out.
2. Combat/maps working ok?
3. Anything else you want to bring up...?
I am enjoying the game a lot, but if you aren't, or would like to see something tweaked, just let me know. This should be fun for all of us, so I am open to suggestions.
Even extra piglet-chasing episodes.

I'm down with it, I think you have to push on in PBP, because their so slow in general. I'm really happy with the pace!

Beautiful.

Yes! At least one celebratory piglet chase! :p

1. Pacing is fantastic. Honestly. I've played many PbP games on Paizo and this is the first one that doesn't drag along.
2. Combat is good. There was a bit of a hiccup with coordinating placement on the map, but otherwise everything is fine. MapTools is indeed a program worth its weight in gold-pressed latinum.
3. More treasure would be nice. :)

Did we solve the hiccup? Not sure I remember where that occurred.
Ah. The treasure. Unless I missed it, don't think anyone has said: "I go through their pockets to see if they've got anything worthwhile." Actually, I've been waiting for it.

The pace is good. It's progressing much quicker than some other PbP's I'm in!

Working great. Love the maps!

*Facepalm* You are right! I guess we've all been so caught up in the moment that we forgot to check for treasure. Actually, I think that's a good sign that we're hooked on the action!

Just a heads up...
My posting might be a bit spotty the next few days. I woke up Thursday with some nasty vertigo, and I am seeing a neurologist today. My thought is a bad case of inner ear vertigo due to allergies...but just to be sure I'm taking it easy the next few days( lying down is only help right now).
Anyway, I will try to keep up as best I can...hopefully this will pass soon...

Ok. Take care of yourself.

Just a heads up, gang. I'm going to be out of town from Sat. July 24th to Monday Aug. 2nd, without any internet access (AFAIK). And, yes, it is at the beach... <sorry> :/
If I do have access, it would be very limited. So consider this my formal approval for Old Guy to NPC Torillan for that period.
Thanks, and see you when I get back!
| Khalad Orlon |
Looking forward to it!
When you get the APG, or even if you don't I'm wondering waht you'll allow. I specifically want to take this rage power:
Gaurded Life (Ex) While raging, if the barbarian is
reduced below 0 hit points, 1 hit point of lethal damage per
barbarian level is converted to nonlethal damage. If the
barbarian is at negative hit points due to lethal damage,
she immediately stabilizes.
That will hopefully ameliorate me dying from rage running out.

These guys:
Spirit Totem, Lesser (Su): While raging, the barbarian is
surrounded by spirit wisps that harass her foes. These spirits
make one slam attack each round against a living foe that
is adjacent to the barbarian. This slam attack is made using
the barbarian’s full base attack bonus, plus the barbarian’s
Charisma modifier. The slam deals 1d4 points of negative
energy damage, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier.
Spirit Totem (Su): While raging, the spirits that surround
the barbarian make it difficult for her enemies to see her.
The spirits grant the barbarian a 20% miss chance against
ranged attacks and melee attacks made by creatures that
are not adjacent to the barbarian (typically due to reach).
A barbarian must have the lesser spirit totem rage power
to select this rage power. A barbarian must be at least 6th
level to select this rage power.
Spirit Totem, Greater (Su): While raging, the spirits that
surround the barbarian become dangerous to any enemy
adjacent to the barbarian. Living enemies adjacent to the
barbarian at the start of her turn take 1d8 points of negative
energy damage. In addition, the spirit wisps can now attack
foes that are up to 15 feet away from the barbarian and the
slam attack deals 1d6 points of negative energy damage. A
barbarian must have the spirit totem rage power and be at
least 10th level to select this rage power.

Guys, am really sorry for the delay. Apparently someone spliced into the cable feed at the pole near my house. AT&T in their wisdom, cut the whole thing off. Somehow this is my fault, despite the fact that I have a signed agreement with them, and the other house does not. Hopefully this will be fixed very soon. I am going down to their office today to meet with them.

Okay. Hope everything goes well! Good luck!
