Liberty's Edge

Dragon Magazine did a series of articles about this very topic several years ago. I don't remember all of the names they used and I don't have the issues with me at the moment, but I recall them calling the fighter/monk a "martial artist." Kind of lazy, but I guess it works. I've always thought a monk/rogue would make a good generic ninja.

Suggestions:
Bard/Paladin - Harbinger
Sorcerer/Wizard - Magus

EDIT: Removed calling Druid/Ranger a "Hunter" since I just noticed you already used it.

The Exchange

Monk/rogue- ninja?
Bard/paladin- Gospel singer? Ok that's just a joke...

Druid/Monk - Yogi?
Paladin/Bard - Evangelist?
Ranger/Druid - Reeve?

I like Bard/Sorcerer for Harbinger.
I'd also changed Cleric/Paladin to Zealot and Fighter/Paladin to Templar and Paladin/Ranger to Hospitaler but that's me.
And isn't Medicine Man just another name for Shaman?

Bard/Wizard-Scholar

Druid/Monk - Drunk

:P

Shadow Lodge

Monk/barbarian – Tempered Rage
Paladin/barbarian – Righteous Fury
Paladin/druid – Hedge Knight

If it is a dual-class, I'd say throw AL restrictions almost completely out the window.

Rogue/Wizard - Shadow Mage
Druid/Rogue - Avenger

Druid/Wizard-Mystic
Paladin Wizard Holy sage

monk/bard - break dancer
fighter/bard - led zepplin
rogue/bard - politician
cleric/bard - gospel singer
druid/bard - 1e bard
ranger/bard - Eco-warrior

Here are the ones I can come up with:
ranger/druid - nature's warrior
monk/rogue - ninja
bard/sorcerer - bladesinger
fighter/sorcerer - spellblade

I'm bad at this XD

All of those are prestige classes...

He already called it that basically, Cantor.

Just because they took the name first doesn't mean we should be banned from using them. At least that's my opinion, since I didn't like how wizards did any of those classes. ;)

The funny thing is I didn't even think of those prestige classes until after I put the names down (except for Nature's Warrior).

what's with the double-a in this one?

then again, barbarians and bards both tend to drink, so put together, they might need a.a. ;-)

Vikings always need more vowels to aid them in their conquest.

I always assumed that's how it was spelled. I suppose I should have researched it first. ;)

I always thought the classic witchdoctor was a barbaric wizard (so bar/wiz) and the classic shaman was a barbaric cleric or druid (so bar/cle or bar/dru). I've never heard the term rage mage used in combination with a barbaric arcane caster, and would tend to avoid it personally.

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

A Paladin/Bard would be a Herald.

A ranger/wizard would be an Explorer. Think Dr. Jones.

A 'bard' should actually be called a Minstrel. A Minstrel/Druid would be your classic 1E 'Bard', from whence the word originally came, and was later coopted by friends of Shakespeare.

A Wizard/bard would be a Lorekeeper.

==Aelryinth

Here are my ideas:

Wizard/Rogue: Trickster is an obvious choice. This is a classic character who always has the right tool for a job, so Cleaner could work (think Winston Wolf from Pulp Fiction) or maybe just plain Problem Solver :)

Cleric/Fighter: Warpriest. I can imagine you'll find a bunch of these among the servants of Gorum.

Bard/Monk: Ascetic Savant, maybe
