I've actually been making my own tokens the last couple of years. I currently have a gallery of about 900 images from Paizo products and other sources that have been resized and adjusted so that they have a size of 600 x 600 pixels. I then import the images I want to use into a Word document where I resize Medium creatures to 0.8 inch, Large to 1.6 inch, and so on, and then put a 3 point border around it. Copy and paste as needed. I finally print the tokens on cardstock paper on a color laser and cut them out. The tokens are much appreciated by my players, since they give them an idea of what the creature looks like, even if some details gets lost when the image is reduced in size.
Anyway, I'm all for a token pack or something like that connected for each AP, as well as for the bestiaries. They would save me a ton of work...
It would be perfect if tokens would come bundled with battle maps for the main battles in an AP. In an ideal world, you´d have pre-punched cardboard tokens and battle maps in a bundle, and be able to set up the main battle in five minutes max.

I prefer square to round tokens for the 1" but beggars can't be choosers.
For me, I'd prefer square if I had to cut them out myself, but if they come pre-punched I'd rather round.

There are two things I want from tokens:1) be sturdy enough not to blow all over the map
-- cardboard counters satisfy this requirement for me. Plain paper that I print doesn't....
I use "cheap" photo-paper to print the Paper Minis (and some path pictured NPCs) and built the figs. The material is rigid and easy to print on a base printer. I guess it would also work good for tokens.

TokenTool is great for this. Give it a look. I use it to make my tokens. I then import them in a drawing software and print them on ordinary paper. I use a 1 inch punch to cut out the token and then I glue it on 1 inch metal washers. It gives the token a nice heft and the washer can later be reused for another token.
