Well my knees are still killing me and I haven't fully recovered from the weekend in terms of sleep. But other than that I'm golden. How about you and yours?

Gah! You'll probably miss this, sorry.

Yeah they're OK. Seth is being a handful at the moment though.

So, I'll be playing in a new PF game this Friday night. One of the guys in my group DMs for some friends of his from work. These were the same guys I went with to visit the Dogfish Head Brewery, and we gamed that night as well.

The other players are all new to RPGing, and so they only really like to go kill stuff, but I think it'll still be fun. I just have to scale back my play a bit (as per the DM's request) - sort of let them learn as they go.

The PC I came up with was a dwarven monk from the Five Kings Mountains - he's a memember of an order I called the Wandering Beards. They revere Torag and Irori and believe that travelling and meeting new people is a good way to learn, become a better dwarf, and try for the whole self-perfection thing. Of course, his Charisma isn't all that great (8) so he won't be diplomancy-ing anybody - mostly just walking up to them and hitting them in the face.

8! You're being optimistic aren't you. What's a good Dwarf without a 5 Charisma!!! ;)

Grats on getting the game though. I'm starting to get the feeling that my Pen & Paper game is going to implode soon and I'm not liking it at all.

Over slept a bit, gonna be late. :\

I'm actually home today, waiting for the contractor working on out kitchen. They're also sending a plumber out so we can get a better idea on how to solve the great Sink/Garbage Disposal Controversey of 2010.

Send in a Peacekeeping force. That should sort it all out in no time...

At work way to darn early. Wife has a training class and needed to drop me off on her way to class. SO have an hour or more to piddle around. Sigh

I've been dragging ass the past couple days crashing on the couch during the day and not being too terribly productive due to the lack of sleep over the span of five days. But if you would ask me if it was worth it and if I would do it again?

Yep. :D

Got a doctor's appt today and then may take a peeksie at what's out there at the HPBs as I'll be in the relative neighborhood.

Success! As I type this I have just managed to sell my second bike to a coworker. I'm selling it for 200, which is 50 bucks less than I planned and I'm getting the money in installments(50 a week), but hey, its out of the house and I'll be able to clean up the rear room a bit. I'll be replacing the inner tubes myself, which will be a bit of a headache, but that's what Memorial Days off are for. I can't wait to put another couple of bucks towards the Hayaikaze-kai.

In other news I've also FINALLY gotten an image editor a friend of mine turned me on to to work and I altered the dimensions of a BEAUTIFUL sandara pic to look the same on both my netbook and a full-size laptop and computer screen(the funky elongated kind everyone but myself seems to own nowadays)...or close enough to it. I'm using it for the background for my rpgbomb page.

This weekend is shaping up to be pretty good, what with the Sunday game and all. I've got internet shifts after work today and tomorrow, and no fieldwork on Friday so I might shuffle off to see Shrek 4- Donkey's Revenge or just work on the adventure more. Saturday's shift is in a bathouse, so it's both earlier AND more intriguing, my partner for that shift is a pretty cool dude that studied tai chi a lot so I'm looking forward to that conversation. And the comic book store is still doing their sale, so I might some some H 25% off!!!!

Have I missed anything during the past 18 hours?

As one of my friends said, I'm 29 going on 70. People say I'm a crotchety old man in a younger body - it's scary to imagine what I'll be like when I'm actually old.

Today's my Friday this week. Going to be going with my son to camp near Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National. Should be a good time -- it's pretty much just him and me for four days.

Woot, I love camping. I hope you guys have a blast!

Kind of a crazy evening last night. I accompanied my partner taking some pictures in an old office building. A friend of his is a security guard there and let us in to take pictures on the roof (it's a highrise with good views), but we were much more intrigued by the inside of the building.

There's an old restaurant and ballroom that are untouched since the late 60s or early 70s, with darkened chandeliers, detailed woodwork covered in peeling plaster, musty old leather furniture, and the like. She said if we wanted we could come back sometime on a weekend during the day to take interior pictures when there is more light, which we definitely want to do.

I feel the need to elaborate -- at work I have on display my collection of Transformers. I have a fairly large collection of cartoons on DVD. My wife tells people that she has three boys. I pretty much live -- "I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toy 'R' Us kid..."

But I'm enjoying transitioning to the crotchety old man phase. I just need a cane...

Silver Crusade

I may opt for "dirty old man" instead of "crotchety old man" when the time comes. Dirty old men always seem like they're having a good time.

You've just got to love some hold music. Just finished listening to "Close to You" by the Carpenters. It's been a while since I've heard that one.
