It was fun. However, the eldrich Mr. Shiny has said that he is going to sue me for mental curelty and torture. it seems that 4 hours up to MB and then another 4 hours back in the same car with me was too much for his poor mind. When he was not crying in horror, he was raving about getting to Pony to sue me or something like that.

Ayup! Ate out at two different local establishments and pretty much shot the breeze at her place since the rain kicked in. Had a pair of dogs that couldn't / wouldn't leave me alone. I got to say on the drive back up to MB, the humidity gets so bad that the fog really steams up the windows and the defroster just isn't cutting the mustard enough. Luckily, the borrowed car came back in one piece ... I think. :P
I want to know ... if you're from Charlotte NC, do I address you as ... Charlatans? Let's see what happens here when I ask for the check...

Started the kitchen remodel today, and already a problem. The wife wanted a garbage disposal, and it won't work with the sink we ordered. So now we have to return that sink and order a smaller one. They did a computer search to try and match the color, but the only sink they found that comes close to matching is about $200 more. I'm thinking I may force her to go out to Home Depot with me tonight so we can look through a catalog and find a decent one. Maybe with a different color.
Sucky thing is, I wanted the bigger sink, to make it easier when brewing my beer. I think I can still make it work, but I'd rather have had the extra wiggle room in size. Its not so much the depth, as the width, I want enough room to get ice around all the sides of my brew pot when I cool the wort.

Flight appears to be overbooked. They're asking for volunteers to be bumped to a later flight. Since they're offering $175 travel voucher(s) toward a future flight, I put my name on the list. Let's see what happens.
It was great to finally meet you all face-to-face.
My departure from my current job is official now--I even have a going away lunch scheduled. :)
