I wouldn't worry until the cat starts talking back.

Thank goodness I haven't looked at that lately!

I have always wanted to visit that region. Heck of a long drive though.

Having one of those days post. I'm cranky cause it's that time, and then I went and passed out when I went out to the kitchen to get lunch. Okay, I have low blood pressure. I'm a fainter. I should be used to that by now. But for some reason I find this to be incredibly embarrassing. Stupid but true.

I had a good weekend at least. Dan bought me comic books. ^.^

I still don't entirely see how it's "normal" to bleed for days and be "ok". If I was bleeding for days, I'd probably be dead.

Hope your day gets better.

Sorry I wasn't about yesterday. I started on a project I thought I wouldn't do for a thousand years, a revised and "improved" map of the Empire of the Lion-Guarded Throne (the campaign setting around Ptolus).

Before I got laid off I worked as a graphic designer/marketer. After I got laid off the whole idea of computer graphic design just made my stomach turn. This is my first cartography project in a year and the first time I have really cracked open a graphics program with the intent on doing something major.

For the most, it feels okay. I am happy to start doing some of this again.

Well, since he's here, and not typing "I miss my limbs", I'll assume the drow won.

Goooooooooooood evening Fawtly Towers!!!!!!!

First post is late because I took today(and tomorrow) off. That and I needed to take more than a little while to cool off after an ENRAGING computer error with Rome: Total War. I'm still pissed off by the fact that most of the Total War games(and most PC games in general) seem to work for a week or a few days and then BAM- your computer is either too old or too new or your drivers need updating or some kind of technobabble BULLSH!T keeps you from the game you spent your hard earned money on. And people wonder why I primarily play tabletop and console games. This latest headache has me wary of putting down more good money on the Star Trek Online game my wife has been bugging me for. I guess that's computers for you- lots of rules and no mercy. Ah, for 5 minutes alone with a programmer, some rope, a chair, and a hammer...It wouldn't fix the computer, but it would make me feel better.

Still, this weekend wasn't ALL bad. I went to an event for Panamanians of African Descent yesterday. It turns out yesterday was Dia de Ethnia Negra in Panama, and I learned a WHOLE LOT about my people, including african tribes that they are descended from, how they mixed with the native people, etc. etc. etc. Lots of food(I haven't had codfish and cucu in YEARS!!!! and chicheme(sp)!!! Well, it wasn't REAL chicheme, but it was close), music(my wife's ears will never be the same again, but it was very very good) and dance(I saw the Congo performed, but we could not stay long enough for the polleras to come out and show off their beautiful dresses and dance). Unfortunately, I didn't get a new hat, but I do plan to wear my old one when I walk to work on Wednesday.

Saturday was a good day too- I didn't have the second job to go to, so I got to enjoy a night out with an old friend seeing many of the places I go to for that particular job. It was nice to get my drink on and stumble about, and I even ran into two of my favorite coworkers while they were on the job, which was HILARIOUS!

As for today, I'm dithering between going into Manhattan to see the guys at the other game today and just staying home- the site of the computer laughing at me from across the room as it refuses to run one of the most immersive strategy games I've ever encountered just isn't fun for me, so maybe I should go out. It would be good to enjoy the city on a night when I don't have to go to work the next day, but I also need to get ready for the Darklight Sisterhood game which has been moved up to Memorial Day Sunday. We'll be playing all day and all night in all probability and we ended in the middle of a battle, so I'm sure they'll want a LOT of plot resolution and XP and stuff. I'll figure out something sooner or later...

And that's it for me. What's up with everyone else?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOFF!!!!

Moorluck wrote:

DUDE!!! You should get XP for that!

Seriously, you fight a lot of what could be considered dire animals and giant insects. How much XP do you earn a week?

Time to go tackle the great beast of laundry.

That is, if I can climb over the mountain of boxes containing game books. Those suckers are so heavy you need to pack them into smaller boxes. But, that means an absurd number of boxes for my collection.

Wish me luck!

Well, if those boxes of books are in the way, then you could always send them to me. I am more than willing to take the hit for the team.
