Does anyone know if there is a campaign setting book for the White Wolf Scarred Lands RPG?
Scarred Lands Campaign Setting: Ghelspad
Scarred Lands Campaign Setting: TermanaIf you want the continental maps, you'll also need to buy the regional gazetteers.

Crappy game night. :(
Sorry to hear that, Thing.

Not craving ice water, heck not even craving water. Just drinking lots of it just because it is refreshing.

Might I offer using the Rifts campaign model and the Mutants & Masterminds game rules?
Sorry to hear that, Thing.
Thanks, it was a bad ending to an otherwise entertaining evening.

Well, Strange, I can't understand why you (or anyone else for that matter) don't like hot chocolate. I could understand not drinking due to allergies (to chocolate or dairy products) but that is the only way I could understand it. This is because it is a fact, rather than opinion, that hot chocolate is excellent to drink. ;)

Because, to me, it is 'watered-down'.
Heck, I don't even drink ... beer.
Or tea.

I surprised everyone last night by inviting someone new to play with us. He worked out really well, seems to be a good addition to our gaming group (though it brings up the number of people at the table from six to seven). Reasons I invited him are numerous beyond this though.
1) He's good friends with another player at the table who can sometimes be a trouble to run for. This other player seems to have "spot light issues", where he has to cause trouble for the rest of the group. Now the other player can be in his own little secret clique with the new guy, he gets some attention there... plus the competitive nature of the other player makes him want to RP more (see below)
2) He's funny as all get out. He's that naturally charismatic guy who says all kinds of funny stuff without actually trying to be funny. He seems to be a natural around our youngest player, doesn't take any offense to their pushiness (since they're 16).
3) He's a darn good roleplayer. His characters can be a bit cheesy at times, but he builds them so he can play as them. Mad Orm Bladescreamer has already taken a life of his own. Since the new guy gets spotlight time when he roleplays I've already seen the other player (see above) trying to play catch up.
4) He's familiar with most of our group and eager to play PF. It's not the first time he's played with us. He knows his way around d20 games pretty well (though this is his first PF game). He's been eager to play PF since the alpha playtest was released but hasn't gotten a chance to play with it yet. He's melded comfortably back into the old group like he's been there the whole time.
All in all, I think he's one of the better additions we've had to our group of late.

That is the worst. I am sorry to hear that. Of all the ways a game can end, that always leaves such hard feelings.

Hmmm...I am not sure what I would do without beer and tea.
What do you drink?

We had that happen once - first round of first encounter ended the game. We've never put that particular group together since.

I am paying for last night but I am active, which is good. I didn't even drink any alcohol since it doesn't mix well with my medication. But I did gorge myself on tasty tropical treats.
Still working on my new article. I want to get it to my editor by tomorrow so I can post it this week. It has been too long since I had an entry.

A jerk is a jerk, that's all there is to it. The T-shirts was right!

I'll drink wine and a whole lot of liquor, that's for sure!
Usually it's an energy drink on some mornings. I really like Coca-Cola, but I'm usually drinking Kool-Aid using Splenda instead of sugar. When I'm out dining, I tend to stay with water.

Thanks for sending those fan pages along to me, Gregg. I appreciated that. I often want to go looking for things like that, but then it slips my mind.
Not a problem. =) I usually turn around and suggest pages to whom I think might be interested parties after I've just joined them. I usually see them off of someone else's "likes" or were suggested to me. As much as people may think, I'm not usually looking for them specifically...I just stumble upon them.
It's like going to Half Price Books. =D

Just checking in.
Hey Taig, glad to see you are almost home.
Derek, *hugs* I am sorry hun. If you need an hour or so of fun, give Hubby a ring, he is good for getting people's minds off things. And if you need to talk about it you cold always ask for me. :)
SP...Now I wish we were hitting a buffet, but we will have to deal with the pot roast and corn on teh cob. :)
I am working on a bit of school stuff. Spent the morning playing with the kids and chatting up the hubby. Its been a great day. :D

I am not a big fan of beer either. Although for some reason, every now and then, it is nice to stop after work and get a beer with teh girls. Which makes me suddenly want to hit a happy hour with them. Hmm, maybe next pay.
