Whatever, Mr. I-Can-Statblock-In-My-Sleep-In-10-minutes. You'll be ready to bring it and wing it.

But I want to do it NOW!

Just make up some excuse to get out of work early...err...never mind...

The one on gay marriage in California. It has turned into a debate over which news agencies are biased and in which way. That, of course, must lead to personal insults because, as we all know, once you swear allegiance to a media outlet you must defend it with your life.

It started off so reasonable. I am a little afraid I caused part of it because I commented on the threadjack that had started. But it was a good threadjack but one that was destined to go downhill, I suppose.

Scarab Sages

Yeah, but, once certain people enter a thread, it's practically guaranteed to go down the shithole.

Maybe Vomit Guy should make a visit......

I wonder if I missed anything in the 300 posts I missed during dissertation time. I hope someone will let me know. Which my nap had been longer. Still so tired.

I guess Mac is getting swamped in wedding stuff. Everybody ok? Moores had some disturbance?

Nah, you should stick with a couple day old stubble or a thin goatee. Nix the beard idea.
I see....what do you have against beards?
When groomed? Nothing at all. I can't see you wearing something scraggly and unkempt, though. Now WR, on the other hand ... just doesn't have your spit, polish, and panache, sir. :P

Aren't you the clever one? :) I do have a bit of an obsession about my beard. I shave it off completely every so often just so I can restart it and insure it stays neat, tidy and symmetrical.

Lately, I have considered going clean shaven.

Awright folks, I'm heading out- I'm tired after a day full of surprising manual labor. Food delivery came an hour before the day ended and I'm rather exasperated.

In terms of Workshop of the Clockwork Gnome, I say go edition neutral!!!! Ptolus is world, not a system, and there are a lot of 4th ed adherents.

I also, have gone clean shaven of late, and I'm rocking that look until I decide to grow back the goatee.

ANd that's it for me. See everyone later!

I can tell you, with all the authority of my doctorate, that people who play 4e in Ptolus are goin ta hell.

It's almost funny, me and my mom don't get along well, or we didn't, but I still go runnin' if she needs me. I guess I have forgiven her for all the broomsticks and jars and frying pans. :/

Good idea about staying away. I sent VG in, and that was enough (although he may visit again if things get to crazy).

And, on that note, I'm gonna go clean up from my run in the park, then join the missus in hunting up some dinner. There's a fair going on down the road, and they should have a pretty big crowd.....

Seconded. I saw the thread and just knew it would meltdown. I kind of encouraged that threadjack. I don't know what I was thinking. My lack of foresight is disturbing. But I suppose it would have gone down that hole whether or not I said anything.

Reynoldsburg. I am not sure if you are familiar with Graham Road, but that is where it is located.

I have thought long and hard about this. Ptolus is a setting, but it was a setting designed with 3e precepts baked right in. Naturally, that doesn't mean it can't be played with other systems, it certainly can. Ptolus grew out of the development of 3e and I think that is one of the greatest aspects of the setting.

Since going system neutral (from Pathfinder) I have had a heck of a time pushing the blog. I even lost a couple readers along the way.

With those two things in mind, I decided I wanted to align with a system and provide mechanical material as well as story/setting material. Of course, that led to an indecision over which system to choose.

After much thought, I decided to go with Pathfinder. Though I have no hard numbers, I am inclined to believe Ptolus has more 3.5/Pathfinder fans than 4e fans.

I do know of a few 4e Ptolus campaigns going on out there, so this was not an easy decision. My gut says go to Pathfinder and so I am. I am hoping the decision isn't a mistake, but I am pretty confident it is not. Since switching back, I have seen an increase in visits and have found more outlets willing to promote the blog than I had before.

But only time will tell if I took the right path. For now, I can't wait to get some more material out there to support this fantastic setting.

Say no more, friend. If you went neutral and lost readers, then it's time to pick an edition camp, and I'm gald you went Pathfinder. It sucks, but you have a very good point regarding 3.0 and Ptolus. Besides, if your gut says something, you have to listen. Like I listened to mine regarding more shrimp. Mmmm...Shrimp.

Yessir, I most certainly do! That's where I cut through to get to Main St from 256 (or if I want to continue on through Waggoner to Broad). Good choice. I was kinda worried as to which part of Reynoldsburg you were going to move to as some sections are ... well, you know.
