I'd like to hear about some of the most clever things you've done with illusions and charms.

Somehow my wife's convinced i'm handsome... does this count?

A friend of mine, a bard, worked together with the party's cleric to kill the skinsaw man in RotR. The cleric blinded the skinsaw man and then, when he fumbled around close by a cliff, the bard created the sound (ghost sound) of footsteps backing away from him, in the direction of the cliff. The skinsaw man leaped to a horrible death thinking he had finally found his prey :D

we had to get accross a lake to get to a wizards tower that was surrounded by a magic circle against evil at level 5. We attracted the attention of 5 Vroc. 3 of them began their AoE group chant, while the other 2 attacked us. Our illusionist created an image of the old Wizard coming out of the tower and casting elemental swarm to build up his own army. This cause the 3 vrock to move over towards him and begin chanting to get him. A 4th went to get inbetween and attack in melee. He proceeded to fail 5 will saves, getting bonuses for each consecutive one and eventually needing a 2 and failing.

From there, we used a Boat Feather Token and obscuring mist. Then, pushing off shore, the illusionist created new copies of the boat each round splitting off, so that they would not come down and attack the right one. Ghost Sound was used to get the Vroc fighting amonst themselves, taunting eachother, causing 1 to kill annother. We survived long enough to kill 2 Vroc and get inside the magic circle, dragging 1 in with us in a net to kill it where its friends could do nothing.

Thus, we pissed off lots of high CR monsters remaining in the area instead of sneaking past the Vroc patrol like we were supposed to. We had an illusionist and a bard.
