Can someone please explain Sniper Shot to me?

In the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting, if you have Kyonin affinity, you can select the Sniper Shot feat. I've read through this feat several times and STILL can't make heads or tails out of how it's supposed to work!

Can someone please elucidate?

It means you can do sneak attack, ranger's favoured damage bonus, and other damage bonuses like those out to the normal range increment (like 110 feet for a composite longbow) instead of the default 30 feet. A useful feat for archers and crossbowmen, not so useful for dagger specialists.
