Elemental Body I states that taking the form of an Earth Elemental grants the caster the Push special attack.
However, Earth Elementals do not get the Push special attack.
Is this a typo, or does the ability need to be specified. Specifically, Push needs a distance and an attack it's keyed to.
This is probably one of the problems that crop up when you write the Core Rules before you write the bestiary : ) They probably thought that Earth Elemental would have the Push ability( and maybe they are supposed to ), but whoever wrote the Earth Elemental entry in the bestiary forgot about that.

So, does that mean the push ability is NOT part of the spell, or that Earth Elementals need it added to their entries?
Yes.
Technically it could go either way. I'd probably add the Push ability to the earth elemental's slam attack. Base push back equal to their reach. But that's me. I'd talk to you GM( or decide for yourself if you are the GM ).

Earth elementals have improved bullrush as a bonus feat as thats what the old push was essentially, a bullrush without provoking aoo, so thats why it was changed as the new is more a knockback which is what I would prefer them to have as they have awesome blow as a feat anyway.
So best fix would be to say they gained improved bullrush as a bonus feat when in elemental shape (earth). But that leaves the door open for does that mean then it counts as a prerequisite for other things like greater bullrush?
So it really needs a good errata James and Jason as I picked this up when the bestariy first came out as it effects druids the most :)
