The last weekend of January 2010, I attended the WinterWar Con in Champaign, IL and played in my first Pathfinder Society game. All but two of us at the table had already registered society characters, and were told that once we got home, we just had to register our characters online to get credit for the game (both of us n00bs were playing the 1st lvl pregenerated characters).
I have a Chronicle Sheet for the game, and now that I've registered my character and have a pathfinder society # for that character, I'm wondering how to get credit for the game.
Any help would be appreciated :)

If you have a way to get a hold of the coordinator you can send him your PFS number and ask that you be added to the table. Don't forget to include the number after the dash. Your first character will be xxxxx-1, Your second will be xxxxx-2, and so on.
Ideally the coordinator should have had a stack of PFS numbers to hand out on the spot but in this case apparently didn't. In case any coordinator is reading this you can find a link on the page where you sanction the event to reserve 10 cards at a time to hand out to newbies or people that for whatever reason refuse to register online. It will make your reporting less of a headache.

Hello and welcome to the Pathfinder Society! A few questions:
Did your GM hand you a registration card with a PFS# and confirmation code on it?
If no, you'll need to do what uncleden said above and contact your GM or the coordinator for the show to make sure they know your PFS#--without it, there's no way for the reporting system to tie you to the game.
If yes, did you use that number at the show and then come home, get on paizo.com, and register that number following the directions on the bottom of the card?
If you received a card at the show, used that number at the show, and then signed up for a PFS number using the sign-up system rather than the confirmation system, then you effectively have two numbers right now and we'll need to resolve that.
A few more details from you and we can get you squared away. :-)

No, the only thing I got was a Chronicle Sheet. I'll see about getting in contact with him locally. It should be easily fixed once I get a hold of him. Thanks so much for the help on the matter.

You're all set now. I had a stack of cards, and brought them every day of the con, and didn't need them at all . . . until the last session. At which time I had already lost track of where they were.
Thankfully you managed to track me down at Armored Gopher last night, and I've got you entered now. Thank you for showing up for the session, I had a lot of fun running it for you guys.

I ran a search and could not get or find an answer to this question. So here goes nothing. How can a new player that has played in two PFS scenarios with a pregenerated PFS number get registered if he lost the card and doesn't know his confirmation code? I am the GM for both times he played and have his PFS number but I did not record the confirmation code as I figured it was his responsibility.
If you need the number and his PC name I can send it to you or post it here, Josh. Supposedly his friend has sent you an email asking how to correct this problem.

Are those the only two sessions he played? If so, I'd say he should just register for a new number and then let you know what that is. Then you can report his new number as having played instead of the old one that never got activated. If you live locally you can simply recreate the chronicle sheets to reflect the new PFS number.

Find whoever downloaded the sheet of 10 to hand out and ask them for the confirmation code. They might still have the PDF they used to print them from and thus would have the code.
If the number is within their 10 most recent they should even be able to download the sheet of numbers again to look.Den
