Have you ever made a Character that was so much fun to play that an other character you made afterwords just didn't satisfy you. No matter what I do I can't seem to make a character that is any were near as satisfying as that one character in all aspects.
The character
Alignment: Chaotic Evil (one problem why i haven't been able to play her again)
Race: Homebrew Cat girl (furry style NOT a human with cat ears and a tail)
Stats: not really important
Class: Rogue
level: I've played at least 10 different versions of this character and she has been various levels
Weapons: These were very important to her and her character. first one was a long sword that me the GM and the other players spent alot of time on the reason why is because I attached 2 small cannons to it A.K.A a shotgun that fired lead balls. The other weapon was a short sword with a smaller version of the cannon attached to it. They eventfully got enchanted and gained some really cool abilities via the rules in the legacy items book (any one i killed came back to life under my control, there were more rules to this part but i don't want to get into all that. They could also summon a living pirate ship).
She was a sadomasochistic pirate cat girl with 2 tails, she hated the thought of anyone being stronger then her and would go to great lengths to kill anyone who made any kind of threat to her (of course she would only kill them after at least 2 days of torture)and she would make sure to take a trophy. Her and her crew (the other players)eventually found an island and built a city in it (yes in it) and it became kind of a pirates haven. There is plenty more I could say about her but I'm going to stop there.
The reason I don't play this character anymore is because her personality tends to take the game in directions the GM didn't plan on and can cause problems wile the other players don't usually mind this , it does make it hard on the GM from time to time.
Ok so the point of this that I want to know if anyone else has ever made that perfect character, Post your character and why you don't play it anymore (if you don't play it anymore).

I have 2: Both characters i loved playing, both characters I have been asked not to play again...
1: Dipthong Polyglot Syllable Tomas d'Sivis.
Eberron Gnome of house Sivis, Dragonmarked and everything. He was a beguiler/mindbender with a penchant for lying so hard it changed reality.
Started off as CN, but rapidly became evil due to several underhanded in-game antics. Highlights include: locking a good cleric and fighter into an underground secret vault thing, because they were no longer useful; turning a "seditious" couple over to the Trust (Gnomish Secret Police) simply to cover his own butt; and selling a Good cleric into Goblinoid slavery just because he was annoying.
Other than his CE motivations, he was a FANTASTIC party member. He was trapfinder, partial healer, full-time buffer, and an ungodly social-skills-monkey. To top all that off, I played him as violently loyal to his friends and completely sold on whatever adventure the DM had cooked up. I even tried to stretch the plot hooks into 2nd and 3rd helpings, delivering additional avenues of approach to the DM and other party members constantly.
He was driven off (almost killed) by the party's CN Psion when he somehow managed to notice the Greater Invisible gnome slay a villager in cold blood. That led into a huge inter-party fight which killed my cohort-healer, almost killed both me and the LE Ardent, and drove us both away.
2: Karnot Pell.
Take Richard Simmon's attitude, Jim Carrey's smile and frenetic attitude, and Emeril Lagasse's style of showmanship. Combine them in a low-Wis, high-Cha halfling sorcerer who is convinced he's a brass dragon trapped in his current body.
Now, add in a raging addiction to sweets, especially cookies, and doubly especially Praline Cookies; top it all off with more empowered fireballs than you can shake a stick at.
Now, you have a decent idea of my go-to Convention Character. Started in a living campaign type homebrew, in one of his earliest adventures (level 4? 5?) he came across a "Cursed" mirror. This mirror, besides being cursed to make the owner paranoid and possessive, drained Wis and boosted Cha in the process. By the time he hit 11th level (when the world fell apart and went 4e) he had like a 28 or 30 Cha.
One of his best highlights: While adventuring in the hinterlands, looking for the cause of some kind of crop-blight, we encounter a shady bartender asking if "We were there for the pickup?"
Without even considering what we were getting, I slapped the requisite gold on the counter and shouted "Of course!"
Little did I know I had just bought a dire boar, currently sedated but quite likely to go berserk. Through a little creative magic use, (Phantasmal Assailants, mostly) Piggy was domesticated. When next I leveled, I made sure to take some Handle Animal. Combined with the ridiculous Cha and spells, I was now the proud Halfling Dire Boar riding Sorcerer!
Piggy stayed through the entire rest of the time I played, so long as size or time wasn't too much of a concern!

I had a Half Elf Psion/Magic User/Cleric in 2Ed. I can't play him because that game is long over and the DM does not play anymore (game probably ended in 1999).
I loved the character because no matter what the DM threw at the group I had something to counter it with though I was not much of a melee fighter (obviously). Multi-classing in 2ed was a pain in the ass but I really enjoyed that character. He did not have a quirky personality or anything just a solid party leader.

I'm not so sure, but everyone else in my group says my coolest character was Brandis. He was a NG cleric of Corean (the LG Paladinic deity), in a Scarred Lands campaign game. Early in the campaign, Brandis had the BBEG literally melt off half his face with vile damage - and since my GM wasn't entirely forthcoming (or truthful) about what vile damage was, Brandis couldn't heal it. So rather than walking around with a seeping hand-shaped wound on his face, Brandis wrapped it up, then fashioned a mask with the holy symbol of Corean emblazoned across it. He later lost his hand, and had it replaced with an enchanted iron one, which he smithed a socket into to hold his holy symbol. (It could become a magic longsword several times per day, and the GM let me essentially have Quick Draw with it for free because of the way I had done it.)
I gave Brandis a phobia - he was afraid of spiders, and when encountering one he would either stand paralyzed or go berserk trying to kill it. This hadn't been an issue for several game sessions, so the GM forgot about it. When the party encountered a tribe of spider-goblins, who worshipped a HUGE spider (at first we thought the legs were treetrunks) the encounter did not go at all as the GM planned.
One of his funnier moments was in a pirate town. He ordered a round of drinks for a bar of pirates, and told them to drink to Corean. (Remember, this is the chief deity of paladins!) When they asked who Corean was, Brandis told them... and when they didn't seem interested, added that Corean was the god of rum as well. The entire bar shouted, "To Corean!" :D The paladin in the party was not pleased. Later, the party sorceress decided to do a sexy dance for the pirates. In spite of warnings to the contrary. Brandis shrugged, then cast Sanctuary on her. I looked straight at the GM and said, "Tell me these pirates have the will saves to try to rape her." He thought a moment, shrugged, and agreed that she was safe.
Some time after that, the party was holed up in a keep with an army of undead outside. The enemy commander was a cleric of the god of disease. He called to us to surrender, that we couldn't possibly survive. Brandis sent the emissary back with his answer: a scroll of Cure Disease. When the undead attacked, he put a Wall of Fire (Fire domain) right at the base of the keep's wall and torched half the enemy army.
Wow. I really miss that game, now.

i was hoping for a lawful evil 12 year old female tian-min shadow hand swordsage
had to settle for a chaotic neutral 16 year old female tian-min rogue who looks 12. my dm fears evil aligned characters, and he fears the book of 9 swords, he doesn't understand the mechanics of the latter, and has had bad experiences with the former. he also doesn't like the idea of tagalong children. i got close but never 100%.
both representations were finesse builds with wakizashi, both concepts called for black wool winter weight kimono with a black ribbon, a black scarf, black tabi, a finely woven black steel wire mesh slip, it would require a hint of sadism, cunning intellect, a playful personality, and a hint of youthful vigor. in both possibilities, she was 5'1" (hope i got 5 foot 1 right) and 80 lbs. either one has a high dexteirty, intellegence, and wisdom.

Exciting news!
I managed to talk the current GM into letting me play my character again, she's level 2 and doesn't have her weapons but that's ok because I've decided to make her a bit more hands on, so at level 3 I'll be taking improved natural weapon for her claws thus making them her primary weapons.
In today's session she lured a gnome to her inn room but not before converting an armour (the closet thingy I don't know how to spell it) into a makeshift iron maiden, she stuffed him in it and told him that if he can survive a week in it then she would let him go (as long as he didn't move he would be ok, oh and keep im mind this is a very evil character). After she put him in there she payed for a week and left.
She almost got killed buy some random elf when she was caught butchering and cooking up the cook in the bar, but the guards showed up just in time to see him attacking me and he got blamed for the whole thing.
Ok so it seems I have a bit of a twisted side but I really wanted to surprise the GM (was very successful btw).

My favorite was Rezzocanezzen the gnome wizard. He had a falling out with the religious monk in the group who thinks all magic is vile. Rezzo turned invisible and tried to use Ghost sound to imitate the monk's God and convince him to allow the group to cast spells on him (the monk didn't even let clerics heal him). Well, the monk saw through the ruse and chased poor Rezzo away.
Rezzo left town in fear of the monk, but not before hiring bards to sing his theme song on a regular basis in the taverns the monk visited. In case you're interested, his song went like this...
Rezzo the wizard has arrived
so there is no chance his foes will survive
He burns these here and freezes those there
so effortlessly with 'dramastic' flair.
They cower and hide from his arcane might
no demon nor beast would dare enter the fight
for Rezzo the great has now leveled the place
and defeated evil with power and grace.
His battlemates cheer and lift him up high
for now they can all breathe a relieved sigh
'cause Rezzo has saved the group once again
from a most greusome and torturous end.
And now that the women in town are saved
it's Rezzo's bed prowess that they all crave
for he has skills beyond battle might
but describing those skills would take several nights.
So we end the ballad with reverence
for the wizard who makes brilliant minds look dense
his genius, wisdom and humility
make Rezzo a role model for you and me!

My favorite character has to be my old samurai from 2nd edition. He had 2 different DM's, but he was never played in a party setting, it was always 1-on-1. Neutral Good Half-Elf Ranger with the Fighter's Samurai kit, modified by the Council of Wyrms Dragonslayer kit. We didn't have Oriental Adventures or the Kara-Tur boxed set, so we didn't know that Rangers and Half-Elves didn't exist in Kozakura (that's where he was from).
Due to dishonor to his family, specifically cowardice on the part of his grandfather, the family's daimyo had decreed that the only way for the family to regain their honor was for a descendant to travel all the way across the mountains and to Faerun, and slay a Great Wyrm Red Dragon.
After a few years adventuring along side an elf that had become the lord of a human realm and his family, he finally accomplished the task of single handedly slaying said dragon. He also, due to some very strange turn of events became fluent in all languages (comprehend languages + permanency), made into a living undead, and also acquired the power to shift into the form of a silver dragon of the same hit dice as he had levels (this later surfaced in his descendants by making all of them weredragons). He also decided to leave his homeland permanently and established himself a kingdom by essentially taking over Tethyr and Calimshan.
He later went on to break his racial level limit and got to 30th level before rising to the position of demigod, his portfolio consisting of honor and dragonslaying. His son was the only half-elven Paladin (due to his own divine intervention), and was Neutral Good instead of Lawful, since he was a Paladin of his father.
The rest of the family after that was all 3rd edition, and has included quite the cast of characters.
The original Ranger's name? Keep in mind I was just learning about Japanese culture, and so just took a Japanese word that sounded cool: Yokozuna Enyago.
