Updating season 0 scenarios

I'm sure this has been clarified elsewhere, but I just can't seem to find the answer:

If I want to run a season 0 secnario, how do I go about updating it to Pathfinder rules? Are there any official guidelines, or can I just do as I please?

Well, that was an answer, but not a very thorough one. So I'll ask a more thorough question:

In season 0, all faction missions give 1 faction award point. In season 1, they can give 2. That means that if I play season 0 scenarios, my players might get lacking on PA points. Am I allowed to update a scenario by modifying the factions quests?

Some scenarios might include items that no longer exist under PFRPG rules. Should I put in something else, let them use the item under 3.5 rules, or just leave out the item?

If a creature is not in the Bestiary, should I use the old 3.5 variant, or choose another pfrpg creature, provided that another fill the first creature's role in the scenario adequately?

If an NPC would obviously be made differently with the PFRPG rules, or if a new feet is essential for that character, should I upgrade that NPC to PFRPG, if I feel that it will enhance the game? For instance, clerics, channel energy and Selective Channeling works quite different when upgraded to PFRPG.

Are these choises mine to make as a GM? As an event coordinator? How much am I generally allowed to change a organized play scenario?

No, Season 0 scenarios that give one PA point stay that way. Everyone who played through Season 0 got the same number of points and it wouldn't be fair to give more after Season One started.

Just leave out the item, unless it was replaced with an identical but renamed PRPG item.

What creature are you referring to? If you need advice on where to find the appropriate creature you should post in the appropriate spoiler thread. The rule of thumb is to use the 3.5 monster, calculate CMB/CMD and call it a day. There's a monster out of PFS#6 that appears in the Bonus Bestiary also.

Try to keep the tinkering to a minimum. Although tempting, do not rebuild NPCs under the PRPG rules.

The choices are always your to make. Josh can only control what is within an arm's reach. The crux is, you don't always know where he is ;)

I think Josh expects us to follow his guidelines just as you expect your players not to cheat on their die rolls. If you don't respect Josh's expectations then why should your players respect yours?
The point of the game is to have fun. As long as you are doing something to enhance the game experience and aren't just trying to wipe out the players you will make the right decisions. I hope this has helped you.

Thanks for the answers. I don't in any way wish to try to bend the rules for organized play against the rules or the wishes of Josh or anyone else. I was just uncertain about those expectations.

Would it be a safe assumption to say that I can smake small updates to the season 0 scenarios, as long as I:

1) Don't make the scenarios harder for the players
2) Don't make the scenarios easier for the players
3) Don't make the scenarios less enjoyable for the players
4) Don't change the rewards from the scenario
5) Think that the change is absolutely necessary to get the most out of the scenario
6) Feel absolutely certain that I understand the full consequences of my update

I can live with that :)
