Eagle Knight in Armor?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I have nothing against the Andoren style, the coats, etc. I quite like it. But, I would like to see it combined with a spell-caster, and a guy in armor, I'd like to see it fused with the standard baselines of the PFRPG world, I'd like to see an Andoren fighter and not just see that he's from Andoran, but recognise him as a fighter, same for a wizard.

Any chance of this happening? Or will the coats remain as they are in all images, with chain shirts worn underneath in my mind?

There are Andorani characters is traditional metal armor in the book.

Personally I just threw the whole trenchcoat thing out of my Golarion.

Umm what coats? got pics? Do you mean the revolutionary war type uniforms they wear? Those I did, but they would work best worn over a chain shirt, leather or chainmail. I would guess that they do cover such armors in much cases. Leather or chain shirt at least.

And I love this Delaware crossing :)

one of the first images we had from the Andoren book in the blog was Someone in full plate

He does not have the coat, which really would be impractical for plate. I know fantasy setting and all, but still sleeves would be a hindrance in full plate, not even talking about such a tight fitting thing across the chest and shoulders hindering movement in armor as well.

right, which is why I pointed it out to Vagrant, that not all pictures of these warriors have coats.

I typically treat the coats as buff coats (light leather coats). They doubled as status symbols, rain coats, and padding for breast plates. Some versions made of heavy leather could act as both cold weather clothing and leather armor.

Well, if you must know: They shouldn't make fun of the company I keep. When I say a guy is "way out there", I'm not insinuating he has unusual opinions or hobbies. I'm saying he's from way out there beyond the stars and he has more tentacles than you and all your friends can handle even if they gang up.

I've just downloaded Andoran. While the dress uniform is pretty prevalent in there (they're not looking like they wear armour - the lady on page six is wearing nothing but leaves!), there is a picture of a Steel Falcon (a PrC) wearing armour over that uniform.

Anyone else who got his Andoran Companion thinks the falconer on page 31 is cute?
