Not sure if this is the right forum, but I was looking through the PRD looking for a list of templates and only found that the simply templates were in one concise place. Is there not a type of index (similar to roles, creature type, etc.) that shows all the templates that can be applied to creatures?

The complex templates are in the book, alphabetized with the rest of the monsters. We did this on purpose, in fact, to integrate templates better with monsters. Templates are one of the great innovations of 3rd edition, but like another great innovation of that edition (prestige classes), they got WAY over-exposed and overdone. By organizing them in with the rest of the monsters, we hoped to restore them as monsters themselves.
That said, a list of templates and the pages they appeared on would have been a good idea for something to put into an appendix; we just didn't think of it. The best you'll get is on page 317, where we list monsters by type. Look under "T" on that list for the section that groups all the templates; it doesn't list page numbers, but since the monsters are all alphabetized that shouldn't be a problem looking them up.

Thanks! That's actually something similar to what I was looking for, just didn't realize that it was under "Type". I actually was looking for a list as I needed a template to add to something for a class feature, as it "fit" perfectly for the theme, but didn't have a good list of core templates.
P.S. Now if only the list of monsters in the "Monsters by Type" appendix were hyperlinked...
