This adventure has a lot of problems with it for my game in general
It's level is wrong right off the bat its to low of level. It says a 4th level adventure and you need to be 5th to finish Howl of the Carrion King. This im sure has to do With Eric Doing Howl after part 2 and 3 were already done.
Lesaar in his discription talks about Sorcerous powers yet he is a cleric
and im playing this PFRPG and Flame Brother are not a part of the Bestiary but I am pretty sure if you put the Young Creature Template on a Salamander it would work
Im going to make some changes to this for who ever is interested
Im going to Stat up a Young Salamander, im going to make Lesaar a Sorcerer, And for Thratnias im going to play around with a couple of template Giant and Advanced to make a true challenge for 5th or 6th level Pathfinder characters

The topic of the low adventure level was covered here. There you'll also find a very nice "Director's Cut" of the Set Piece, composed by Rob (drunken_nomad) himself.

I think this is no big problem. Who knows how a salamander defines "sorcerous powers"? ;)

A nice conversion. As for my group (also PFRPG), I used the 3.5 version of the flamebrother and just added CMB and CMD. It worked out well, but I have to admit that it was still a walk-through for my 5th level party. But beware the final encounter with

There's an interesting post regarding the Giant creature template.
I was wondering how it will differ compared to your version. In this variant, I was using Tables 2-2, 2-3 and 3-1 in the Bestiary instead of the template:
CE Large outsider (extraplanar, fire) CR 7
Init +0; Senses darkvision 60 ft.; Perception +16
Defense
AC 18, touch 9, flat-footed 18 (+0 Dex, +9 natural, -1 size)
hp 92 (8d10+48)
Fort +12, Ref +6, Will +6
DR 10/magic; Immune fire
Weaknesses vulnerability to cold
Offense
Speed 20 ft.
Melee +1 shocking spear +15/+10 (2d6+10/×3 plus 1d6 fire plus 1d6 shock), tail slap +9 (2d8+3 plus 1d6 fire and grab)
Space 10 ft.; Reach 10 ft. (15 ft. with tail)
Special Attacks constrict (2d6+10 plus 1d6 fire), heat
Statistics
Str 24, Dex 11, Con 22, Int 14, Wis 15, Cha 13
Base Atk +8; CMB +16 (+20 grapple); CMD 26 (can't be tripped)
Feats Cleave, Iron Will, Power Attack, Skill Focus (Perception)
Skills Acrobatics +11, Bluff +12, Craft (weaponsmithing) +17, Intimidate +12, Knowledge (planes) +13, Perception +16, Sense Motive +13, Stealth +7; Racial Modifiers +4 Craft (armorsmithing, blacksmithing, and weaponsmithing)
Either way, an enlarged Thratnias will be a real challenge for a party of 5th or 6th level characters, especially with the terrain bonus on the salamander's side. You can make this encounter even more interesting by skipping Cleave in favor of Improved Bull Rush, I belief.
The difference in damage output is due to the fact that Thratnias is fighting with a Two-handed weapon.

Joey, thank you for converting all this to Pathfinder stats (and making the adversaries TOUGH!) and thank you to Ylciriel for pointing everyone to the other thread. Rum n cokes for you both!
The spear was supposed to a mofo! Give those fighter-types something to worry about ;)
and *all salamanders with spell abilities call themselves 'sorceroussssss', just to sound like Cobra Commander.
