The six of you move into the dining room, for a moment no-one pays any attention to you, you seem to have arrived during a meal time
You see lots of Deurgar and few dwarf slaves, many people are eating, talking drinking.
D 26, 27, and 28 seem to be standing guard
To your surprise you see that there are Drow eating in the same room as the Deurgar! The Drow have nicer tables and chairs though
On the top (large) table several Drow are sitting
Sitting separately on a smaller table are two Drow females
One of them (dro5f) begins to beckon you over and then notices something about you!
At this point we go to a surprise round!

Why do you only get +10 to hit?
are you using you elven curve blade? then you are at +12 to hit and then because of the haste you are at +13, and the durgar is sitting so I count them as semi prone which gives them another minus 2 on ac and they do not have their shield strappped on so their AC is 13 at the Moment

He jumps up on the nearest table and slashes with his blade.

I wish we can somehow convey to the duergars that Arak is dead, thus making some of them retreat? I can totally picture Vhorun jumping on the table and brandishing Arak's head, laughing as the duegars retreats in horror while peeing their pants.

All the drow males (4 of them) stand up and draw two swords each

Quick question. During the surprise round, Ghaun did a monster summon. And it seems that he did the same thing during round 1. Is he still summoning during round 1 or did he start a new summon? If it's a new summon, where is the summoned monster?
Also, on the new map is that dro4 next to Charlyl still?
I finally got a new computer. I should be back on regular schedule.
From my count, I used lightning bolt, haste, ray of enfeeblement, summon monster I, and summon monster II.
One charge of the lightning bolt wand.
used cure serious wound potion.
two current monsters are summoned in this battle.
I'll wait for the next round for my action.

ghaun (its good to have you back!) pick what the monster is you summoned (in the suprise round) we will asume that it has been on delay and it can attack anytime

Orrin, by clawing and biting at him
she then summons a dupicate image of herself
Df2 then pulls out a scroll and starts casting the spell that is on it
dr01 hits the fire elemental twice and destroys it
he then moves into its square
dro2 kills the dog with one blow he then 5ft steps to where it was and attacks Miu doing 5 damage
dro3 atacks miu with both swords, on he hits for 8 damage and misses once

the duplicate image is on the same square as Df2 it is basically a weaker version of mirror image (it only provides one image)

on a more serious note, that female just summoned a dire lion wich is a pretty high spell level and these duergars drop like flies so maybe we could use Vhorun a little better?
My take on this battle is that the duegars are fodder. The main threat here are the drow females. Orrin & Shal might be able to take care of the statue & dire lion on their own. If we can get pass the drow males and disrupt the females' spellcasting, this battle will be ours.
