The Pathfinders make their way through the tunnel at the rear of the cavern, coming out onto the narrow trail up to the top of the sea-side cliff. Carrying Alerion is tricky with so little room to manoeuvre, but they eventually reach the top.
The street that the Pathfinders have climbed up to is slick with mud, and the buildings across from the cliff are dingy and in ill-repair. There are few people on the street, and those that are present are mostly concerned with reaching their destinations. The cave below is virtually invisible, concealed by the overhanging cliff edge.

Caelwyn steps over the lip and sniffs, wrinkling his nose. "Not much better than what we left behind."

The walk back to the Grand Lodge is a long one, but equally uneventful. It isn't long before you find yourself waiting once more for Adril Hestram in a meeting room not unlike the one in which you where assigned your task.

Caelwyn snorts derisively as he looks down to the pouch he carries. Carefully untying the thing he opens the string and dumps the amulet out onto the table in front of Adril, grinning. "We brought you a present. I would advise that you store it securely. It doesn't want to stay here."

"Hah! Excellent!" the looming venture captain booms, scooping up the amulet with a wide grin, "how's Maren?"
Adril narrows his eyes for a moment, then smiles as he raises the amulet over his head, as though about to place it around his neck. Suddenly he lets out a laugh as he lowers his hands and rattles the amulet around on its chain, "thought ye had me didn't you? Stupid spirit!"

Caelwyn reaches up to pinch the bridge of his nose, pained by Adril's display of 'humor.' "Seemed fine the last time we saw him, but I was concerned of what his thoughts might be if we refused to return the amulet. And so here we are. Perhaps a facsimile could be fashioned and sent back?"

hey guys, sorry for the delay. i was in a bike accident monday afternoon and my left arm/hand are mostly out of commission for about 2 weeks. typing is a fairly laborious process and writing is out of the question as i am left handed. fortunately it seems that this game is about done but i will not be able to start another until i have recovered. i would be willing to run one at that point but i understand if you guys want to get started before then.

No worries Mike, I've already stepped up in the OOC thread to DM...(Now is a good time for me) maybe you could take the next turn?
Depending on how things move here, I'm thinking about starting the next module sometime next week(or later, whenever is fine...). I would definitely be willing to DMPC your character until you are ready to jump back in if necessary. Hope your injury heals well!

As Olomorn relaxes at the end of the day, preparing for bed, he notices that some of his wounds are swelling in an unsettling way.
By the forge! I hope I haven't come down with some damned disease...."
Olo will go to bed and hope he can shake this off. If he wakes up in the morning worse for wear, he will look for someone who can heal/cure diseases...
