Mighty Cleaving

Rules Questions

Do Mighty Cleaving melee weapons allow a cleave attack on a full-attack?

I would say no, but the wording "if the first attack hits" makes me wonder.

I don't think so, though an improved version that does can be considered.

You have to be performing a cleave in order for the mighty cleaving weapon to do anything. A cleave is its own standard action, thus a mighty cleaving weapon's special property does not work on a full attack, or during any other time, except when performing a cleave.

I overlooked the "using the Cleave feat" part.

Brain fart! :)
