As I always had Kaerishiel (probably miss-spelled) and Shalelu along with the PC's through a large portion of the adventure since they met up in crying leaf, I thought I'd obviously bring them onwards in Descent into Midnight, at the beggining the book also states that you can bring Kwava and any other elves the PC's have met through the adventure.
So I'm thinking of instead of sending Ghaele's with the PC's to send along some NPC's from the previous adventures? Kwava Kaerishiel Shalelu? hell maybe even Samaritha though that's stretching, anyone else thought about doing this? or done it?
I'd obviously have to buff up the encounters significantly but it might help my PC's "like" the elves more if they send some help, especially some elves the characters are friends with, I think it'll encourage the PC's :-)
Great adventure!
Looking forward to any replys:)

We had Samaritha with the party all the way through #5 (didn't end up running #6). The main problem we found is that the demands on the GM get higher as levels go up, and the NPCs get more complex to run--the game can bog down. You might consider whether your players could handle some of the allied NPCs in combat.
You'll also want to check for areas that are only survivable with PC-level stats and equipment--massive saving throws are the usual problem--as it's hard on morale if the NPCs just evaporate.
Other than that, I'd say go for it. Players hating the Elves is a big problem in this campaign, and anything you can do to make the Elves seem worth saving is helpful.
