Locations on and around the Isle of Dread (minor spoilers)

Savage Tide Adventure Path

We are playing TOD at the moment and one of my players has made a "to-do"-list. Besides the logical steps to take (salvaging the sea wyvern, looking for the tar pits, etc.) they also plan to go to several locations not directly related to the adventures, so I was wondering whether anyone has done anything with one or more of the following locations:

The Valley of Madness (they want to use loco weed to drug enemies)

Badwall Isle (they want to capture wyverns and train them as mounts)

The aranea village (they are just curious about them)

The lizardfolk lair (they want to negotiate with them to gain them as allies)

Rivenskull Cave (they even want to negotiate with the cannibal tribes)

Griff Isle (they want to capture hyppogriffs and train them, just like the wyverns)

The Throne of Huhueteotl (they want to investigate it because they are curious)

The reefs (they want to dive for mashers and try to tame them with the aid of several druids)

The original Isle of Dread adventure has a few more details

Any idea where we could find that?

eBay?

Also, one of the magazines with the AP (I forget which) has an adventure called the Hidden Shrine of Demogorgon. Perhaps it would be good to incorporate that at the Throne of Huhueteotl.

I think that is "Lost temple of Demogorgon" from dungeon 120.

I will try and locate the original isle of dread adventure somewhere...

Luckily one of my players made a list of priority missions, and these are all missions from TOD. So at the moment the urgency to work out these new missions is a bit less...

Well, I purchased it in electronic format when I originally ran this... but we can't do that anymore.

I have the original adventure, and I must say that beyond a map of an Olman and a Phanaton village, it has very little that is not included in STAP.

Well, then I have to get creative myself :-)

Something I thought of using in my campaign on the Isle:

"glacial inferno" (Dungeon 103): it features the Halls of Huhueteotl (inside a volcano) with a twist...

Hagor

I decided that the Throne of Huhueteotl was going to include something more Cthulhu-esque. Was tossing around ideas from an advanced froghemoth to an Elder One like Tsothogga or Chaugner Faugn.

wow, some ambitious players there. With only two months, it will be hard to make all of that. Travelling the isle takes a lot of time...

Unless, like the players in PH Dungeon's campaign, they have a cleric who thinks to use wind walk.

Luckily they do not have wind walk yet. And luckily for me the plans are still changing. It seems that they first want to go to the tar pits and to recover the Sea Wyvern. Which means I have some time to draw something up.
They are also planning to delegate some of the missions. Not to the Jade Ravens, because relations with the Jade Ravens are really bad. But perhaps they can convince Amella, Skald, Urol and Lirith to do some missions. They all still live, and one of the PCs has saved Skald from Olangru, so he at least feels he owes them something.

Or, you could do a quick search for "Used Role Playing Games" and then "Isle of Dread" on those sites. I found several copies here:

I am sure there are others out there.
