"What is your relationship with the wizard who owns this tower, Themon? How long have you been in this tower?"
"And do you and the succubus hate each other simply because it's a devil vs. demon thing? She wants you dead..."
"Interesting...so what does Themon have u and the demon do exactly? And how exactly does he...love you?"
Aerian gives his companion a look that says "yeah right."
"So, you're saying that Themon summons & binds outsiders just to talk? Humor me, what do you guys talk about?"
I wonder if she has noticed what happened to our world. Seems like we are in hell right now.
"And what did you tell him about your home?"
"Did you get to go outside at all? If so, where was it or what what did it look like?"
"Do you know if he mentioned anything like...ummm... what happened to our world?"
"What my friend means is: Did Themon tell you anything, when you weren't discussing your home plane? For instance, did he mention anything he was doing? Or anything that was happening to him? Or to anyone else?"
"How long ago did Themon come down and speak to you or the demon?"
"And what does Themon look like? Can you describe him?"
"Was he undead? Did you see if he was breathing?"
"I'm confused, what exactly was he? He knew what happened to our world, as he took precautions for it. Did he cause this?"
"When was the last time you saw Themon? How long ago was it?"
Philip wonders how she will handle the news her master is dead...
"I don't think he was well-prepared, more like lucky. The devil here says the world has no air when she was summoned, so Themon prepared the air bottles after the apocalypse, not in advance of it. He probably got turned into a skeleton just like we did."
"Aside from Themon and the demon, did you interact with anyone else? Did Themon mention anyone else living or working here?"
"When Themon asked about your world, was there a specific direction his questions seem to go? A place? A person? A thing?"
"We should try to track Themon down, he seems to be our best lead. Thank you for your help ladies."
Are we done down here? Can anyone think of anything else to do? Otherwise, I want us all to go back to the top floor so I can search the top floor for secret doors, hidden treasures, etc. I think we forgot to do that when we went there.
EDIT: Come to think of it, did anyone search the basement itself, or was that Perception check only for the stairs LEADING to the basement?
Philip will help Filleox search both the basement and top floors.
Ulgulanoth, will you require a seperate Perception check for each floor? In case the answer is yes, and since I already rolled for the top floor, here's a roll for the basement, before I leave for the day.
(Of course, if I keep getting lousy rolls like this, then what's the point?)
"Nalaliel!" Philip draws his sword and rushes out the tower door.
"Wilhelm!" Filleox follows right behind Philip.
Philip sees this and charges the creature, yelling, "Get away from them!"
