Should lamia matriarchs have the Undersized Weapons rule that creatures like regular lamia and centaur have? Or are lamia matriarchs much bigger than those creatures?
I don't remember why I came to this conclusion, because I haven't run the adventure for quite a while, but I concluded they should have the undersized weapons rule. I got the impression that they're human part was normal human sized.

Not being able to edit my brain fart post is irritating.

Actually, if you check the statblock of the lamia matriarch in PF# 2 page 92, they're listed as wielding scimitars which do base 1d8 damage instead of 1d6.. so from that I take it they're wielding large weapons.
Stay with me. :D
As it's been noted, they are large creatures written under 3.5 rules.. Furthermore, take a look at their type.. Monstrous Humanoids with the Shapechanger Subtype.
Check the Shapechanger Subtype for 3.5, and you see that it comes with the Alternate Form supernatural ability (which is abbreviated on their statblock). Check the last bullet point on that Alternate Form link.
OR:
Any gear worn or carried by the creature that can’t be worn or carried in its new form instead falls to the ground in its space. If the creature changes size, any gear it wears or carries that can be worn or carried in its new form changes size to match the new size. (Nonhumanoid-shaped creatures can’t wear armor designed for humanoid-shaped creatures, and vice versa.) Gear returns to normal size if dropped.
The Alternate Form ability adjusts the gear size to whatever size their other form is.. If the gear is separated from the creature it reverts to normal size.
I provided links to back up my explanation.
So a lamia matriarch can have a normal size weapon, but use it as a large weapon in her true form. That makes it easier on the PCs trying to claim treasure that is sized appropriately.
The problem being that the Alternate Form ability was dropped in Pathfinder
But that explains how the lamia matriarch was built in 3.5.
Edit: A regular Lamia in 3.5 was a large Magical Beast, but in Pathfinder they were changed to Monstrous Humanoids without the Shapechanger Subtype. This is consistant with the fact that the Matriarchs were also Monstrous Humanoids (except they also had the Shapechanger subtype).
