Duration of Buff Spells

GPFSOP Chapter 6 Addtnl Rules & Clarifications says regarding Spell Duration: Simply put, any spell cast by a PC during a scenario ends at the end of that scenario. This does not apply to conditions a PC may have gained during the course of a scenario.

Does this mean I ignore the duration of players spells like Protection From Evil? Could a wizard take off his armor, cast a buff spell w/ no spell failure chance, then re-don his armor and play the scenario?

Afraid not. Spells with a relatively short duration like minutes or hours per caster level still end when they end. The rule that you refer to is to prevent a PC from bringing a lesser planar ally or the product of an animate dead along with him from scenario to scenario.

Doug Doug is correct.
