It's sad that the first thing we think when we hear a Hollywood personality has passed away is, "Drugs?"
But, our collective minds go there for a reason.

Maybe I'm a callous bastard, but I when I read it I said, "Who?"
I honestly didn't recognize the name. Reading the article didn't help, I've never seen any of the things it mentions her being in, except for "Sin City" and I can't place who she played from the picture, though I want to say it was one of the street girls from the second story.

She was, I believe, open about her eating disorder, or at least it was an open secret. I'm pretty sure that was the cause, because she's been wasting away for years.
As for who she is, I can understand people not knowing. Not to speak ill of the dead, but she was a B-lister at best. Her biggest roles were in Clueless (as the "fat" girl), Just Married, and The Black Book, though I think her most successful roles were as a voice actor. She was Luanne on "King of the Hill" and Gloria in Happy Feet. I think it's tragic when anyone dies at a young age or "before their time" but I don't know many people who will specifically miss the dearth of new activity from her in the coming years as was the case for Heath Ledger, River Phoenix, James Dean, etc.

There is talk that she was addicted to painkillers, but the "Sun" is not the most reliable of sources...
It´s a pity, no matter what the cause. Can´t say I knew who she was, but 32 is no age for dying, no matter what. Three times that age, that´s ok.
But 32? Something has gone seriously wrong.

She played the part of the waitress, the one the cop guy was smacking around in her apartment. Forget the cops name now, but he later got killed and his hand chopped off.

Ah yeah, the beginning of the street girls story. I remember now.
And the cop's name was Jackie Boy. :)
