Wow, that's out of the blue. But, I suppose that's how death usually happens.

A couple hours ago I recalled that just two weeks ago a new comedienne on the cast of Saturday Night Live came on that show's weekend up date and did an unflattering 2 minute impression of her. That lady must be loving life right now.

Heart stopped, sad.

Seeing her lately, I though she had the look of an anorexic, who are prone to heart attacks. I guess we'll see.

Even though I don't know how "natural" her passing was, it makes you start thinking when people younger than you start passing away...

I couldn't claim to really be a fan but I will say that I usually found her entertaining in a good way.

She was, without question, a highly medicated personality.

It's sad that the first thing we think when we hear a Hollywood personality has passed away is, "Drugs?"

But, our collective minds go there for a reason.

All shall come out in the days to come.

And someone will make it up if it doesn't exist.

Maybe I'm a callous bastard, but I when I read it I said, "Who?"

I noticed she look thinner than I had remembered her being too. She was not what I would consider a healthy size, not that I am a doctor or anything.

Liberty's Edge

It bothers me when someone younger than I am passes away suddenly like that. A heart attack isn't as weird as the "blood vessel bursting in your brain" scenario, but still an unpleasant reminder of one's mortality.

Well, given that most celebrities are soaked to the eyeballs in a cocktail of probably none-too-compatible drugs most of the time, I wouldn't worry too much, Cuchulainn.

Unless you are, too, of course. ;)

I honestly didn't recognize the name. Reading the article didn't help, I've never seen any of the things it mentions her being in, except for "Sin City" and I can't place who she played from the picture, though I want to say it was one of the street girls from the second story.

Paizo Employee Director of Brand Strategy

She was, I believe, open about her eating disorder, or at least it was an open secret. I'm pretty sure that was the cause, because she's been wasting away for years.

As for who she is, I can understand people not knowing. Not to speak ill of the dead, but she was a B-lister at best. Her biggest roles were in Clueless (as the "fat" girl), Just Married, and The Black Book, though I think her most successful roles were as a voice actor. She was Luanne on "King of the Hill" and Gloria in Happy Feet. I think it's tragic when anyone dies at a young age or "before their time" but I don't know many people who will specifically miss the dearth of new activity from her in the coming years as was the case for Heath Ledger, River Phoenix, James Dean, etc.

She was also the lead female character in "8 Mile," which was a surprisingly good movie (if you like Eminem and his music at all, anyway).

There is talk that she was addicted to painkillers, but the "Sun" is not the most reliable of sources...

It´s a pity, no matter what the cause. Can´t say I knew who she was, but 32 is no age for dying, no matter what. Three times that age, that´s ok.
But 32? Something has gone seriously wrong.

Don't like his music but that was a great flick

Never seen it myself. Not a rap fan.

The Exchange

Not really a rap movie, although it has a lot of rapping in it. One of the best scenes in fact.

I thought she was a beautiful and talented actress. I am saddened she is gone.

She played the part of the waitress, the one the cop guy was smacking around in her apartment. Forget the cops name now, but he later got killed and his hand chopped off.

Ah yeah, the beginning of the street girls story. I remember now.

And the cop's name was Jackie Boy. :)
