FF 1-02

Okay, that sounds fine.

Mike, if its cool with you, whenever we travel I'm just going to be crafting in the background. If I do anything other than scrolls (If I get the feats later) I'll let you know.

I'm kind of a pbp noob, so can you guys tell me how you are editing your posts that contain dice rolls? I thought that would mess up dice rolls that has previously been made.

Here is another idea for initiative. Mike could handle the rolling of initiative by actually "rolling" dice for each of us in one post. That would keep the order in one post, but also preserve the randomness of the dice roll. Not sure if Rheed always wants to go last.

Nope, the rolls are the same no matter how much you edit the post... I think it might use the post number as a random seed.

That's how I'm handling it in the PFS PbP.

I'm fine going after you guys, so long as I occasionally act before the enemy ;).

As long as you don't mess with the dice handler, everything stays the same. So just edit away! (within the 1st hour after posting, of course)

I like that idea.

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

I'm cool with that as well. No reason to slow down waiting on a couple people to roll for init, if Mike doesn't mind doing it.

FF 1-02

Okay, we'll try that next time.

Grand Lodge

Its quiet in here!

I'd be fine with Mike advancing the fight for the people who haven't posted their actions in this round...

I was waiting for the others, but I'll go ahead an post now just in case.

FF 1-02

I think I'll go ahead and post actions for the other characters.

Male The rules don't contain a specific for a mix of all races..... Drafter 20/Father 8

Sorry everyone, I have been out of town and starting a new job. I am going to try and get back on regular posting now. Again, sorry for the silence.

Paizo Employee Developer

No worries!

Mike, I am going to be away from my computer til late this evening. Will you have MoButu throw another of his produce flame blasts? I worked on the assumption that the scroll was prepared at second level in paying for it, so he has one more ranged blast left from that scroll. Bwenge is gonna hang back, and try to not get grappled.

Thanks.

Paizo Employee Developer

Can do.

FF 1-02

I had Chacall start at 3rd level (3,300xp) with 3,000gp of treasure, but I don't want him to get ahead of everyone. Chacall, just keep your XP at 3,300 until everyone "catches up" and then you'll start earning awards like everyone else. I should have just set you at the same exact point as them in the first place, but I wasn't sure exactly what point you'd hop in and where they'd all be at. In addition, though it may not make sense "in character" we'll have you stay at 3,000gp of treasure until everyone catches up.

Since the rest of you just earned 115xp, that should put you all at 2,915 total. And, am I correct that you all have about 2,400 gp worth of gear each? (1,000 from the beginning, 1,400 worth of rewards?)

More or less, less being the party fund...

Speaking of which someone needs to carry the items for said fund(i.e. write them on their sheet).

I was thinking that Mo'butu could hold the 4 Lesser Restoration Scrolls, Chacall could carry the Cure Light wounds wand (or viceversa). We have 10 potions and 7 players(I'll skip mine, so 6), so 1 per person, and 1 extra to Corvus, Mo'butu, Nu'mara, and Rheed(those melee-types).

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

Good point Ku'ada. If no one objects, I will adjust my character sheet with the new scrolls on it this evening.

FF 1-02

Update coming soon-ish.

<Rubs hands together> Can't wait to see the new NPC avatar.

Liberty's Edge

Male Human

guys i'm going to have to drop this one i'm afraid.

i've been busy as of late and i'm likely starting a new job soon so i'm not gonna have as much free time

I'm really sorry and I wish you well

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

Good luck with the possible new job, mm.

Mo'butu will take the Wand of Cure light wounds and spend a charge on Corvus.

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

I'll be away all day today. Just autopilot me as necesary. I will be back tonight.

FF 1-02

That's okay MM, thanks for letting us know.

On with the show...

It's been a while since we heard from Nu'mara... are you still around Celestial Half-Porc?

FF 1-02

CHP hasn't posted on the other game that I'm in either. How do you folks want to handle absent players? And how would you like to handle Chacall? I'm tempted to say that Chacall was simply tasked with helping to escort you to the ruins and then he returned to Malgri's Camp.

Your solution for Chacall is fine with me.

In general, I'm okay with you NPCing a character if they have posted for a few days, so you can move the story along.

Maybe CHP is busier with his new job than he thought he would be.

So how many are the in the party now? Is it 5?

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

I am fine with you doing what you think is best as concerns the droupouts, Mike. If we are down to five, we might want to get another player in, assuming we want to stick with six.

And for the record, we got some phat magic lewt now! hooray! I say give rheed the dust of trcklessness and pot. of invisibility for sneaking excellence, and the ranged guy should take all the arrows. That's just my thinking, though.

I echo the other's views on this one. And although I have nothing new to add, better I show that I've paid attention ; )

I agree with Mo'butu, but...
who is the ranged guy? Nu'mara?

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

That's why I just said 'ranged guy' because I honestly didn't remember who it was, lol...

I think Rheed and Ku'ada are the only ones with bows in the group (not counting Nu'mara).

Haha, I've got a bow too! But I am a caster, and therefore not all that great with it. So Rheed can take them and if Nu'mara shows up again, they can split them?

500 posts! Woohoo!!!!!

Colonial Human Urban Druid 7 | Charm Domain | Init. +6 | Perception +14 | F+6, R+4, W+9 (+2 on saves vs. divinations and enchantments) || AC xx/xx/xx/ | HP xx/xx

Yep, at 500 posts, time to say good job to Mike and everyone in the group. Let's knock out 500 more real quick and see what happens!!

rah rah!

Hmm... I had thought that Constructs were immune to illusions but it seems that figments can still affect it, according to the Construct entry in the bestiary... is that correct Mike?

FF 1-02

They're immune to mind-affecting effects, which does not include all illusions.

Sovereign Court

Glad you're feeling better Mike.

I'm going to be away this weekend from Friday afternoon(GMT). Hopefully we can get this scene settled by then, but otherwise my plan is to get to the bags, find the map and tuck that—along with any other notes—into a pocket, and then get back to the group.

woot! look at that natural charisma! ;)

Woot, indeed! That went surprisingly well.

Now I've got invisibility (the spell), I'm sure Rheed will be enjoying that! :)

A note to all: As we've been traveling, you have probably noticed Ku'ada tinkering. It seems that encounters with the construct have opened up some new avenue of creation for him, and he is now creating minor magical objects. If there is any minor wondrous item that your character has been wanting, feel free to approach Ku'ada. As we have been traveling together and gotten to know one another better, he will probably only ask that you defray his costs.

It did prove very effective just now didn't it.

Are we leveling up now, or next time we rest?

Ah good point... oops :)

Hey, you might be doing it right, I don't think Mike has said how we're handling it.

FF 1-02

Go ahead and level now. :)

Done.

I've picked up the trap-spotter rogue talent, not only is it really useful, I think it fits PbP games very well; it'll save a lot of "I search of traps" posts.
