What can I make with Fiendish Hydra skin (scale) 5th cleric

Yo all, the party was able to kill a fiendish hydra & we were able to skin it & yes there is a sh*t load on skin scales, i have craft wondrous item would like some idea what i should craft it into.
I am lvl 5 cleric so

Any idea's would be great!

Amulet of Natural Armor springs to mind, but that's not specifically Hydra-like.

Perhaps something that grants some of the resistances of a fiendish creature...

Or even regeneration, but that'd be a bit above your level, I'd say.

Perhaps, if you DM allow it, be allowed to treat it as Dragonhide for armor?

You can make a leather, studded leather or hide armor. If you have craft (leather working) you can make it masterwork.

You would than be able to enchant it normally with craft magic arms and armor. Hydra skin is in no way comaprable to Dragon Hide.

As for wondrous items...? Bracers of armor? Belt of giant strength or Constitution... A cloak of resistance.
