Were the Azlants the first (known) human race, and did they give rise to the rest of the human subraces and cultures? Or, were they contemporaries with the Thassilonians, who also gave rise to other human subraces? Is there a family tree of sorts for humans in the Pathfinder setting?
Or, has the setting left those details to DMs to detail?

The Taldan and Chelish peoples are derived from Azlant stock, otherwise no, though they could claim the title of father's of civilisation, they as the Thassilonians were originally Azlanti, however I beleive the culture who's ruins litter the Mwangi expanse, and are possibly related to the serpentfolk enemies of the Azlant were a powerful contemporary civilisation. Maybe Ninshanbur too, though it might have been more contemporary of the Jistka Imperium and Ancient Osirion.
As for pre-Starfall civilisations I don't know beyond the Avistan, North Garund, Western Casmaron area, there may have been some in Tian Xia, and it may have been less affected, while any Arcadian civilisation would ahve suffered just as much as Thassilon did.

Thassilon was settled by exiles from Azlant. For a thousand years, Thassilon and Azlant were contemporaries, until both civilizations collapsed at Earthfall. While the people of Thassilon were originally of pure Azlant stock, they started mixing with Varisian and Ulfen and some other ethnicities and were well on their way to developing into their own true ethnicity before Earthfall cut that short. THe Shoanti of the Storval Plateau are probably the only thing left from that legacy.
We haven't come out and said for sure that the Azlants were the first human race I don't think, but I suspect that they were.

No no no. Mu and Lemuria were first! ;)

While the Taldans, Chelish, etc. seem pretty solidly 'former Azlanti,' it's not clear whether or not the Kellish and Garundi and especially the Mwangi, Tien and Arcadians / Skraelings, etc. are descended from them. It could be fun to play on old Anasazi 'people of the stars' themes and have the 'Skraelings' be the descendents of settlers from off-world...
Or you mix it up and have the Ulfen be the descendents of warlike raiders from the mist-shrouded sky, with their seafaring longships being reminiscent of the boats they sailed to reach this world.

I've always wondered: Did the muumuu originate on the Isle of Mu? And if so, is there a primal Muumuu of Mu that's a potent artifact?
Yes. It's on Bora Bora, guarded by Duran Duran (the angel, not the 80s rock band).

Of course. I must got procure the Cabo Wabo from Chumba Wumba so I can use it to propitiate Duran Duran.
