It's that time of year again. This will be my third Crimbo. My first Crimbo was when the Crimborg tried to assimilate Crimbo. Last year, the Penguin Mafia tried to collect Uncle Crimbo's debt which he spent on bad "investments" resulting in poor working conditions for his Crimbo elves -- making mutant elves. Uncle Crimbo lost last year and it looks like the Penguin Mafia is now in charge of Crimbo -- and still want to collect their money.
Make sure that you go to Uncle P's Antiques on the Wrong Side of the Tracks. It looks like we need to get the hobos to collect money for the mafia. It should be interesting.
If you haven't played in a while (or you haven't ever played), the Crimbo season is a good time to take it up again. The Pazonian clan has some nice items in the lounge and if you can manage to get a VIP Clan Key, we have a pool table and a hot tub. If you would like more information about Kingdom of Loathing the Wikipedia article has a good summary of what it is and how it works. Also, if you get stuck or are looking for more information be sure to check out the KoL Wiki.
Hope to see you there and have a great Crimbo season. (Hopefully with kneecaps intact.)

Hey, everyone! Crimbo Town appeared again! Now come over and help us beat up rebellious elves for some Crimbux!
I may try and start a thread in the clan but I'm wondering what classes are represented. At the Crimbo Cartel, there are 6 different Crimbo Carol "chapters" which grant skills. But only one chapter is available to each class. For those interested in getting them all, we should work out some way to trade each other for them.
I currently have a sauceror and a disco bandit.
(I'm going to need a LOT more Crimbux.)

Wait, those grant skills? I'm currently a Seal Clubber, by the way.
So, have at least one person of each class get as many of the chapters with their Crimbux as possible, while everyone else gets as many of the outfits/familiars as possible to give to the people in exchange for the chapters?

I'm not sure how this is going to play out. I currently have just under 4,000 Crimbux and I'm only really getting just under 500 a day. FrumiousB, Kelne and I have VIP Keys and will probably be interested in getting a Christmas Tree set up there (not sure what that will get us yet). And at 10,000 Crimbux for each bough, and we need 5 boughs to make the tree, it could be pretty difficult. (And at a trade "value" of 1,000 meat for each Crimbux, it would be VERY difficult to trade enough to get a bough -- let alone a tree (50 million meat approximate "value" for the tree).
I'm just hoping that they will give us more elves to fight in the near future to make it a little more possible to get.

So far it looks like we're getting roughly the same amount of Crimbux per day (250+ however many badges we manage to pick up), but that may change once it's later in the month and we get more content/an elf riot.

Hey guys, thanks for the whitelist.
I have a VIP key as well, so you can count on me to try and help with the tree. Since the outfit is the only thing not tradable, I think that I may go for it first. Also, if you want more Crimbux, don't forget to gamble. The 11 table is a great place to get more if you've got adventures to burn. The past two days I've done just the quest, and burned the rest of my adventures there (betting max each time), and at the end of today, I'm at 6,206 Crimbux. If you want to gamble, but don't think you've got the skills, there are guides to the game available. It's actually pretty easy to succeed at.

I think we'll have more crimbux available as we get closer to crimbo itself. They tend to start off slow with these things.
I hope so. I'd like to mention again that we should try and work together as a clan to get as many different Carols as possible. They are currently going for around a million meat in the mall. I'm hoping that more crimbux will be available as we get closer to Christmas so that we can trade as much as possible among our clan -- that should be a lot cheaper than trying to get them through the mall.
I'll try and remember to Whitelist Doomsayer tonight.
