I'm a huge fan of the Pathway to Adventure races but I'm kind of bummed out to hear that there is 12 pages of new material in the compendium. Is there any hope of getting hold of that material in a separate product for those of us that have all the individuals?

I think that's fair since if you purchased them all individually and it costs more than the compendium itself as a whole, you should get a little freebie as a consolation. To me, that would be good customer service.

Actually, if you purchased all 15 races individually, Alluria Publishing will send you a complementary copy for free (subject to verification). Please email: support@alluriapublishing.com for more details. Complementary copies begin Dec 2nd, the offer begins on that date.

Having read reviews for these races as they came out first in 4e and now in Pathfinder I have something to ask:
Have their needed to be any specific changes in mechanical offerings between the 4e version and the Pathfinders? I'm particularly thinking about how races like the Entobian eventually had options like flight, which I guess from reading about 4e isn't too unbalanced.

Not only did there have to be specific changes in the mechanics, there had to be sweeping changes. 4E and 3.5/Pathfinder mechanics are like apples and oranges, and in some cases we had to settle for a race with a similar "flavor" to the one presented for 4th edition. To illustrate, simply look at a Pathfinder elf, and a 4E elf, and you can see marked differences. These differences are also apparent in the two different editions of Remarkable Races. This was not limited to the mechanical either, as 4E and 3E have different cosmologies, damage types, and design approaches. All of these things had to be taken into consideration. The two books, while similar in appearance and page count, are quite different from one another, as are the incarnations of each race and their mechanics.
