I've been playing a 12th lvl Character (Lvl 11 Human Fighter / Lvl 1 Ranger) and his most recent brush with death (according to the DM) revealed that there is more to him and who he is than just simple Human Fighter. Basically myself and our druid were swallowed by a giant flesh ooze and through force of will (and some amazing dice rolls) I was able to hold myself together, our druid wasn't so fortunate as she was digested almost immediately.
So at lvl 12 its now been revealed to me that I'm a half-janni, but I've been playing this guy as if he's from a far northern viking-esque climate.
Whats the best way to incorporate this bloodline into my character? I have the Qadira book, do I just add the bonus's to my ability scores and go from that point? Or do I go all the way to beginning and recalculate my skills and bonus's from lvl 1? Do I add the Flight to my movement?
I want to be fair to the other players as they won't know this about my character. In light of this addition to my character, I'm not going to take a leadership feat as I think being "buffed" and having a cohort just might be too much.
I haven't played a lot of caster classes, so I'm not sure what "Spell-like abilities" mean and how they're "cumulative" What would his caster level be? 14?

From your feat selection I would never have guessed that he was at all viking in any respect.

Be aware that being Half-janni and from a janni bloodline are two entirely different things.
As a half Janni your father or mother is a full janni.Descending from a janni bloodline means there can be a janni among your grand parents or even a dozen generations removed.

Actually YOU should not do anything. It is your GM who has to tell you the effect of your heritage. How it modifies your character if at all.
If you are of a janni bloodline it does not necesarily have any effect upon your character.If you are an actual half janni the implications are huge and it can fundamentally throw the balance of your character, especially compared to the other players unless they as well are enhanced in a similarly dramatic fashion.
In all honesty what you are describing sounds very poorly thought through by your GM and I advice that you consult what exactly is going to happen with your character at this stage.

Half janni CL is based solely on HD.

I can understand that, it was more his background story than anything that described him as a Fighter from a Sailing/Fighting/Merchant Society from the Far North.

Yes, I only picked up the Qadira book yesterday and am trying to learn what this might mean for my character and for the game balance, when I talk to my DM, I want to do so from an informed standpoint. He said Half-janni, but looking at the racial boosts this is a huge difference from what he was.

This is why I'm coming here to hopefully get more information on how this could affect my character so that after this holiday, I can get together with my DM and discuss what this means to the campaign and everything. I realize that it is up to my DM's discretion on what he wants for his game, Everyone else is lvl 13 and up and decently geared.

If I where your GM I would give you a minor elemental magic (as the rogue talent) for free.
I would also allow you to spend feats to aquire janni like features such as fire resistance.Alternately I would allow you to rebuild your character as a suli-jann if you where so inclined. If I where particularly generous minded I would treat the conversion much like the effect of a reincarnation spell.
